Uh, hey, everyone. So a few days ago I made a second account on vizzed called "fear the great" and went on under that alias until it got banned. I regretted everything I did during that time. I did it to get a banner and wasn'thinking about the consequences for my actions and lost all my TP as a result. I accept this as punishment for my actions. I'm very grateful that I wasn't banned. To david, the staff, and the vizzed community I'm sorry for deceiving you all and hope you can forgive me.

I forgive you. I was pretty worried when I saw that you had made that account, I wondered if you were doing OK. I thought you did it to get a fresh start.

I was sad to hear that you had done that and honestly wasn't sure what you thought you were going to accomplish.

I do though, appreciate your apology and can forgive you. As long as you make sure to follow the rules of the site from here on out, we should be fine!

You are still a pretty new member; at least you still have THIS account. Learn from your mistakes and grow from there!

I'm still confused as to why you did it in the first place. It didn't really make sense since you haven't gotten in any trouble on your current account. That's the main reason why people make another (or to get extra Viz somehow).

Still, I'm glad to see the apology and hope you learn from this and move on and be a better member.

I'll admit, sometime last year, I was considering making a re-reg with the express purpose of only posting enough to get the White Banner, since I never got an opportunity to even try for it (since the TDV came well after I joined), but obviously decided against it.

I sympathize, in a sense.

And I'm also pretty sad to see Final Weapon fall to just 1 TP. When I first saw this thread earlier, he was a trusted member, and now, he is not.

I'm not saying we should reward him, or anything, but I definitely feel a little off that he's lost TP for what would seem is a public admission of guilt.

It's bad he did what he did, and I'm sure there's already been some sort of punishment laid out in some way or another, but it was a relatively minor infraction, compared to what other users get away with scott-free.

I can understand where your coming from with his postion being stripped after he aplogized, but at the same time I can understand why he also was stripped of the rank..We actually had a really long discussion with some people in the hidden
forum for trusted ages ago debating about how fair and unfair the tp
system can be sometimes.

I see two sides of the story here:
- It could've been worse, he could've gotten a ban and dropped to negative-1 tp(I've been down that road once, never going back).
In my perspective, he got letted off easy compared to other members punishment.
- He wasn't dq'd from the Tour De vizzed either if I recall.
-The OP acknowledge's the fact he made his bed and lie-d down in it.  He could've kept more TP. but at least he still has a chance of regaining much easier  after breaking the rules (again) compared to other members.

If he follows the rules, and does what usually good members do. He should regain the position really fast.

I get he wanted to have a jersey, but at the same time. He should've thought of the possible consquences that came with that action.

As far as the White Jersey and other stuff goes, for next season I think.
- The white banner should be changed to a different jersey as a whole.
-I get the whole newbie thing, but the matter of the fact is: There's not too much newbies on vizzed that post or stick around as a long time member.
-So I think this could be viable. White banner could be done by someone who has the most Red and Green banners during the TDV.
Or plan B) Get Rid Of newbies,  if we let older members compete for the white banner it wouldn't be fair.
Because they can post more, and get more benefits. Not to mention they don't have to spell check.
This is all up for debate, and could probably be on a whole different thread.

Final Weapon : It's okay Final Weapon we forgive you. I know you wanted the banner but your other account got banned. I also feel sorry for your lost TP as well. Although I have a few things to question you.
 1) Shouldn't the registration option say that you can't have multiple accounts for one user. I though that would stop you for making a new account though.
  2) Although you basically made a new account, how would you manage 2 accounts, besides would you have to ditch your account to focus more on your other one, or would you just use your 2 accounts probably for separated uses?

Anyway, to be honest, I tried to make a new account (not for TDV) to have one for gaming, and probably this one for talking in chat, but I saw the message on the register option but then I saw that one rule there in their and I didn't make that new account.

So yeah, again this is not the best way to say that I forgive you, but hey you know I forgive you for making the new account for the newbie banner (probably).

Initially, it makes no sense to put up another account while you still have access to your main. However, I've seen lots of things, better and worse than this, to win something at the TdV, or prevent other people from winning it. The desire to win something can sometimes make you blind about the possible consequences.

You should take this as a chance to start over again. You went over the rules, publicly showed you regret it, and you're still here. Abide by the rules from now on and you will gain your Trusted status back, and who knows, probably you can aim for something higher.

SuperCrash64 : Lately, the White Banner has seen almost no competition, but I must remind you that zanderlex, Singelli or EideticMemory won it, and they went on to be very active members. You just never know when a winner of the White Banner may become an active user. Plus, David is already thinking of new banners, one precisely for veteran members, so the White Banner isn't going to change anytime soon.

Btw, his re-reg was DQ'd from TdV, it's just that he hasn't participated with his main account.

legacyme3 : To help clear things up ZeroTails is right you don't lose trusted status until you go down to 0 tp, which doesn't really make sense in my opinion but that's the way it is. So his trusted status must've indeed been removed manually by david since I think only david is able to do so. As far as him losing tp before and after this thread being made, I wouldn't know.

The staff and I accept your apology. It was not a thought out plan and it is quite clear that you can't have more than one account. I actually find this quite dumb because you have gotten into similar situation before, but that was when you made you account for the first time with your brother already being a member here. So you should have known better. If you use the second account, we will easily find out that the accounts are duplicates.

As everyone here has said, we accept the apology. I hope that you'll do everything in your power to redeem yourself. I'll be rooting for you man.
