I still don't know why this happened but I know what triggered it. After looking through my emails, I saw that Godaddy had done some maintenance on the server on Saturday night (10/17/2015) and ever since then, both domains on the server stopped working. It's kinda sad that they weren't willing to fix the issue for me when I contacted them, especially since they basically caused the problem. I'm going to try and contact them again letting them know that their maintenance caused the issue.

I can't seem to get in contact with Godaddy at all. I try contacting their live support and I've been getting this all morning "We are currently experiencing high chat volumes, all of our agents are busy assisting other customers, please call (480) 505-8877 for immediate help". I then try to call them and literally no answer. I guess I'm stuck having to email them which kinda pisses me off because I know it'll take them a while to get back to me. Sorry everyone but this issue is definitely out of my control


Jordanv78 : Godaddy has always had the worst tech support I've ever dealt with. They've done this sort of thing with me many times in the past. There have been a few times when they were literally responsible for something not working but went on to blame me for it. Also, a few years ago when the site was being DDoS attacked, they initially denied that the site was being DDoS attacked and blamed the problem on poor site coding. I'm so glad I switched to Hostgator years ago for most of my servers. The only reason I've kept 2 servers with Godaddy is because I wanted to be safe and have servers with 2 different companies (just in case Hostgator suspended my account for whatever reason). I currently have 4 of my servers with Hostgator and I'm definitely considering dropping 1 of my Godaddy servers and getting a 5th server with Hostgator.

It's also frustrating to have to invest all of my time into another issue a month after I had to invest a ton of time into a previous incident that took up weeks of my time

Hope it can be fixed soon, I can live without the games since i don't play here anymore, but without the server and chats, there isn't much to do. Heck, I spend a good hour a day on comet chat, so I hope they can take care of it quickly.


On a side note, could this have anything to do with why vizzed has been slow? At least for me. Vizzed went down for me for a couple minutes about 5 times today while all other places worked fine for me.

It could just be a problem for you because it works differently based on things such as what device you are using, what operating system you are using, and the browser. I can't use spell check on my own laptop or phone at all anymore for months because it stopped working there, and I can only use it on school or library computers from now on. Never been able to use it from my phone or tablet ever either.

Basically what happens is the spell check clicks up, and then- it refuses to load anything regarding the post.

Because of this yesterday I had to manually edit, and had Google do the spell check.


It's working for me today now, but it wasn't yesterday. Something probably to do with the server.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
