So today I had some Chinese food, and that inspired me to make a thread about this.


Well it's some simple questions with a yes or no answer. I'd figure a poll be appropiate.

So here goes. 1) Do you like sweet and sour sauce with your meal? I love sweet and sour sauce, I had shrimp or chicken, with some rice and a fortune cookie.

2) Do you read or ignore your fortunes at the end of your cookies, if so what did they say at the end of them?

I love Chinese food. I like sweet and sour but I don't often have it. It would be either vermicelli or chow mein. I used to read fortune cookies. They have stopped that in the UK now. The used to do it a lot in the past and stuff. I love fortune cookies. And I would always see what it says and then have a min to think on it. I can't remember the words. But the ones I used to get were about life. I had one saying...*You will succeed in life* that was my fav one and I hoped for that to come true. It hasn't yet I feel but maybe one day it will.

Chinese food is the absolute best. I occasionally have sweet and sour with my food, but I still greatly enjoy it even without the sauce. I've always made a habit of reading the fortune cookies. I'm not an overly superstitious person, but I enjoy seeing the message inside each one. It's just a little extra bonus after finishing a nice meal, at least that's how I see it. I've read some pretty interesting things from fortune cookies, both ridiculous and truthful. Nonetheless, they complete the Chinese food/dining experience for me.

I personally love Chinese food, however, I hate Sweet and Sour sauce. If I'm eating Chinese food, I want General Tso's Chicken or Orange Chicken. Also, I do read the fortune from the fortune cookie.

I love Chinese food. I always get the same thing, General Tso's chicken. Some places make it a little bit different, but I like it when it's a bit more sweeter, and not too spicy. If they don't have that, any other kind of chicken, I love chicken.

You would need to be ore precise about "Chinese" food. Is it authentic Chinese food one can find in a good Chinatown (duck, squid, dumplings) or what we can find in chains like Giant Panda (?). I love The former, and I have mastered The art of chopsticks quite well!

As for your specific questions

1) I prefer spicy sauce. The sweet and sour sauce covers too much of The real taste

But when I'm not ordering Chinese from Chinatown I order from the best restaurant that's in my area, and there are four of them.
