The object of the game is quite simple. You are posed with a situation, and you must somehow change the mood or direction the situation takes. Plot twists are generally meant to unexpectedly alter the outcome of a story or movie etc., but for the sake of spam, we will substitute it with a simple event/ situation. Once you have successfully changed the outcome, you may then create a new situation for the next user to change. Rinse. Repeat. For example:

Person 1: Harry fought the urge to cry as he stared at Dumbledore motionless in his coffin.

Person 2: Dumbledore springs out and yells at Harry for disturbing his nap.
                  A man comes running towards you with a large knife with a dazed look in his eye.

By this point, a third person would reply and then give a new situation for the next person, and so on and so forth. As always, keep the content appropriate and avoid swearing/spamming/ flaming. Easy enough right?


A man finds himself weeping at a funeral.

Razor-987 : But it turns out... It's HIS funeral!! Plot twist!!

   Do we keep with the same story, or do we make a new one up every time...? I'll just try to make it the same story, you guys can change it if you want to.

   The man, realizing that he's a ghost, decides to leave the funeral...

Furret : Then you find out that the dog is actually Death, and he's come to claim the life of the bird, which happens to be your beloved pet!! Now you have to try and outsmart Death to secure your bird's precious life!!

Excellent question. Although I would generally prefer that a new topic start after each reply, if you feel like you can keep the same story going for a few replies without it becoming difficult to change the plot, then go for it. Ultimately though, the decision lies with you and if you are willing to continue on with it.

I am undecided how to go about it really. What do you guys think? Should there be a fresh topic each and every time, or do you think it would be okay to continue building off of a pre-existing plot twist (my main worry with this is that it will eventually get stale and run into a dead end.)? Let me know what you guys think. What would be easier to do?

Right as you are about to pull up to the window, you come to the realization that your grandma is the one serving your food and she messes up the order!

Now, this is typical of my grandma to mess up my order, so I forgive her and ask her if she can fix it. She goes back and fixes it, and hands it to me. I then walk inside and throw my entire order at the manager and yell "Why would you hire my grandma?! She messed up my order and I want the number for corporate!"

Mega Man realizes HE is Dr. Light!

In a twist of fate, it turns out that Mega Man was the actual Dr. Light, and the "Dr. Light" we all knew and loved was actually a robot designed by Dr. Wily to help Mega Man defeat him and grow stronger, so that one day, Mega Man will be strong enough to take on any challenge.

I'm eating a burger covered in ketchup.

But, as you have just realized, the ketchup is blood, and the world is filled with and dominated by vampires! Everyone turns towards you and gives you a piercing gaze as you hesitate to bite into the bloody burger.

Meanwhile, Big Boss assembles everyone in Mother Base to fight the vampire menace...

But as it turns out, he never was Big Boss! It was all a ruse! But then mother base was suddenly nuked...Kinda sucked to be them.

The only ones left were Fox and Marth. This was the final battle, it all came down to this.

Then, a newbie player grabbed the controller and switched on all of the items, made the spawn rate "high" and picked The Great Cave Offensive as the stage!

(Yes, that's it, the next user has to continue the story)

After getting hit into lava, Marth ended up looking like an ugly barnacle.  He was so ugly that everybody died.  The end!

Once there was an actual ugly barnacle.

But it wasn't actually a barnacle at all, still ugly though.


Ash was one move away from beating the 1st gym leader.

Then that jerk used a Super Potion!! (I hate it when they do that...)

When an asteroid bursts through my roof and shatters into bite size pieces.

 I took a bite out of one of the chunks of asteroid and..

It ended up being the best thing you've ever tasted. It is so delicious that you end up opening several restaurants across the world that serve asteroid meatballs and hot pockets as the main dish! (I can't imagine how you would actually prepare it in the kitchen XD)

You finally beat the elite four champion, your parents are coming in to congratulate you and....
