I posted about this a couple times in a trusted+ member thread just to rant, but I thought I should make this public now that it's solved and there's a great lesson to it

So I'm in a class my school has called JROTC, where we learn about leadership, teamwork, cooperation, and more. It's an army-based class that has had an amazing impact on my life, especially at school. I got chosen to lead my entire class. Well, for the past couple weeks I had some issues with my assistant. The main issue was that she wasn't communicating with me as much as she was supposed to, and the instructors didn't seem to notice.

Most of the other people I was working with were fine, however. One guy even volunteered to help me out with my on-the-spot assignment last Friday, which I was grateful for. I talked to both instructors and today they took action. One of them walked up to the teachers' podium and gave the class a few-minute talk. Even though he singled my assistant and I out which I didn't like, I'm glad he talked to the entire class about the lack of communication going on.

Now my assistant and I are communicating a lot again and we're getting along better! It was partially my fault for the lack of communication, but not entirely. I was making more effort to communicate than my assistant than she was and she wasn't answering my texts. She also didn't inform me of an event that was going on Friday afternoon. I missed it and then I was asked why I missed the event.

This means I can finally focus in my other classes much easier again and that JROTC can be fun again! I haven't been this happy about something in

PacmanandMariofan : That's great news. I'm glad you got your problem fixed and your classes can go back to normal. Good luck.

Well, I'm glad that your problem's been fixed, and I hope that things will keep going well for you in class. I hope the rest of your school year goes great.

GamingN00B :

gamerforlifeforever2 :

Tama10 : Thanks! So far things have been more normal. Today one of the instructors gave a speech to my class about respecting and helping me more. So now I should have another problem solved I know some people won't listen to it but I think a lot of them will.

I was kind of in JROTC for a while before. It was okay. Glad you were able to get things under control.
