I highly dislike it when people pay other Viz (or other stuff) for subscribing, liking, rating 5 stars etc. If you're paying someone to give a 5 star rating or a like, it's a fake rating and you're lying to yourself and to others. 5 star ratings and likes are something I feel should be earned, not bought. I have more to say, but I thought I should ask what others thought of this, and their opinions.

p.s. Im perfectly fine with "Rate this... for... viz" I only hate it when it's  "Rate this 5* stars" 
The first is for honest feedback, and the other is dishonest to people looking for stuff and yourself, as you don't get feedback so you can't improve (that way you don't need to pay Viz for subscribers, and get them from good videos )

It's literally just promotion at its basis. Paying people to do this is just like putting an ad up. Take for example what I did with my YouTube channel, I paid YouTube $10 a day for an ad slot which guaranteed a certain amount of views, likes, and subs. And once that was done, people started coming in on their own because people who saw the ad liked it and kept coming back, or when people search for something, it comes up more.

Eh i never seen much of that but i dont see a problem with it but something somewhat similar i hate is youtube channels saying "After *insert a big number here* likes i will release this video" Holding videos hostage annoys me to no end

Yes I hate this so much, this kind of thing was started by kids and now became a trend among the youtubers and beyond. That's not all what happen, people have now used the Internet to buy fake degrees or cheating on the test. The companies don't care about selling fake views, degree or giving out the right answers, all they want is money. That's what many, on what I call "Fakers" want, money. In fact there is even fake game developer tools that generate fake games to sell online (yes those so call free minecraft that are out there).

the problem here is that people are being too greedy on trying to make money or trying to be popular.

You know, it's funny. I used to absolutely despise when this was done. It's basically adding fake popularity to something that just simply isn't popular. Now, in the past I would actually openly express my dislike on the users advertisement. It's essentially a bribe.

Now, as of a few years ago, I just started turning a blind eye. I always told myself I would keep composure and value my integrity over free advertising. It is just something that won't change, and you kind of have to accept that it is acceptable now.

Then, about a week ago, I saw multiple people offering Viz for Subscribers. I saw it was successful, and was a little intrigued. So, I set out and did it myself. I thought, hey, it's free advertising and the viewer may actually like what they see. Truth be told, even though nobody used that forum, I feel a bit ashamed. It's basically me saying "I have no integrity and I just want to buff my numbers so I can impress the people who honestly don't care."

With this being said, I looked at it as an opportunity to expand my fan base. It's difficult to gain attention this late in the game on YouTube, so whenever you can take an advantage - you'll probably take it. Does it make it better? No, not really. It's shady. So, after this post I will go into the Vizzed market and make sure to say "Offer no longer valid."

So I dislike it, I did it myself, and I don't intend on defending myself. I chose the cheap route and that's all there is to it. I'm going to try and fix that and avoid that mistake in the future: if there is one thing I know, it's that there are a large amount of users who strongly dislike this type of advertising, some so much that they will actively tell people not to check them out because they used shady practices. I know, because I used to be one of those people.

Are these not... illegal? Or it is only for upvoting people to get trust points?

Anyway I have never seen such requests and I would never give in. Not only have I no need for more Viz points, but I too think it is dishonest to boost your popularity through bribes. We have enough of it as it is in politics.

I don't think it's illegal. I've seen sight staff and Davideo do it himself. So apparently it's all good.

Luigi442wii : I did hear about this "fake promotion" on Youtube. The user simply asks his very good friend to give excellent reviews to boost popularity on The whole website. That is just lame, considering that The content is usually terrible.

I totally agree here. It annoys me when people bribe other people in order for them to follow their channels on youtube. I would never get this desperate for people to follow me or whatever they want. I don't get it, however people will just keep doing it, so I can't let it bother me.
