This competition got a good amount of participation considering it was labeled a speed run competition almost 2/3 of the month until I realized it and fixed it to be a high score competition.

I was fairly surprised to say the least. I've been investing a lot of time trying to become a bit more competitive in 1st person shooters and I also started a teaching position. I began to worry about my retro gaming skills only to fail at finishing the last 2 competitions because I sprained my back pretty seriously. Things were looking pretty grim for a while but the 2 wins last month definitely cheered me up. Nice to be back.

I'm teaching anatomy and physiology (lecture and laboratory) at the college level. It's a pretty awesome gig to say the least. I love explaining things.
