Based of the choices above ,which catergorie of Pokemon Game do you prefer and why?

vizzy900 : I'm thinking the trading card game.It requires a lot more strategy and getting legendary pokemon requires a lot more skill and luck, rather than just using a master-ball.

I prefer the video games over the trading cards. It seemed more convenient in my opinion.

I prefer the video games over the trading card game. The trading card game is fun but the games beat the cards easily.

The games are more interesting overall because of the variation. There are Ranger, Mystery Dungeon and other spin offs. With a ''normal'' game you can do more stuff than just only playing the TCG and collecting. For example: hatching eggs and training different teams. Also there is a possibility to play the game Nuzlocke style which makes Pokémon even more interesting and challenging.

Defiently the video games between those two, I have never even owned a Pokemon Trading card to my knowledge though I would like to collect them at some point, but the games are all I deal with.

I prefer the video games since I grow up with it more than the trading card games. Because I wouldn't enjoy the trading card games as much. So I don't really see the need to buy it and to get it as well.

I've never had an interest for the trading card game so I'll go with video games.
They're more diverse and a lot more fun IMO.

Pokemon Video Games and I doubt that'll change any time soon. I did get into the trading card game and anime before getting into the games (partly because I couldn't afford a GBA at the time) and it can be a lot of fun but I think the video games are more fun, simply allows for more options in how to go about things and allows for much more depth than a card game. It isn't just about battling, but also about the journey itself.

Not to mention it's a lot cheaper since trading card games are a huge money sink, especially Pokemon since the cards seem highly overpriced and you'll probably have to pay a lot to have a decent deck unless you get lucky on ebay. Sure you could play the online version too but it still seems to be highly pay to win and I personally find it's not the same as owning physical copies of the cards when you collect them. Not to mention if I wanted to play an online card game I'd rather play something like hearthstone, that's much more accessible and just has a much bigger playerbase.
