If you misspell a URL on vizzed, there's a good chance that the site will now correct your spelling and take you to the page that you intended to go to.

For example, this:
https://www.vizzed.com/bords

Will redirect you to this:
https://www.vizzed.com/boards/

If you use improper case, the site will also correct that.

For example, this:
https://www.vizzed.com/BOARDS/

Will redirect you to this:
https://www.vizzed.com/boards/

This is all done using CheckSpelling within the .htaccess file using apache's mod_speling. This use to be enabled on vizzed many years ago on a previous server I was using but this current server didn't support it which was a bummer. I recently had Hostgator enable it for me. This should actually help increase site traffic since some URLs throughout the internet point to wrong or misspelled URLs and some search engines like Google have indexed those URLs.

Wow, that's really awesome, David! It's a small change, but sometimes I do misspell the URL's sometimes. I'm not sure how commonly used it will be. But the fact this is a feature is really cool!

That's so cool. It may not seem like much, but I believe this will make many more users likely to stay on vizzed. They might forget how to spell a URL they want to check out, then they can get redirected to it.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
