For the past 2 days, some actions weren't sending Notifications and also weren't being logged. If an action isn't logged then it means that action wasn't counted toward the Green Jersey. I'm pretty sure these actions did continue to award CP and Viz.

-Video Rating
-Video Rated
-Viz Transfer (not sure about this)
And possibly a few others I'm forgetting.

These issues have been fixed as of 10 hours ago. It's not possible for me to calculate these uncredited actions unfortunately since there's no log of them so I apologize to those who were competing in the TdV over the past 2 days in these actions and didn't realize they weren't getting points.

What caused these problems was a small update I had made to a file that every page of the site uses. Basically I accidentally replaced a line of code with a new line of code. Mistakes tend to happen when I've been either lacking sleep, working too much or both. Completely my fault but thankfully I was able to track down the problem pretty quickly and fix it.

Davideo7 : Great that you managed to fix the CP system, David!

And please don't worry about the missing TDV actions and points. We are all human beings and make mistakes. The TDV is just a competition meant for fun. I think those users who participate for fun don't mind at all. But the users who don't appreciate your mistake should be at least happy that you apologized.

It's nice to see we got rid of the glitches this fast.

True, for people competing in the Green jersey would have been troublesome, but to my knowledge, these actions did award CP even if they didn't show in the log. It could be just me, since not everybody did notice this glitches, but I thought I had to say it.

TornadoMudkip : I'm actually happy that I got it fixed as soon as I did. I was informed by multiple users earlier in the day yesterday that there were problems (and I also read through threads reporting it as well) and I had looked into it briefly at the time but couldn't figure out anything so I kinda put it off to the side until I had time to let it sink it hoping that maybe a solution would come to me while I do other things. About 2 hours before going to bed, I took another shot at it and basically tried to figure out which files I've edited in the past 2 days and then did various actions that were reported not working. I eventually had to compare the current version of the file that was causing the problem with a backup I had to see which lines of code were different and I eventually figured it out. I literally figured out the problem like 5 minutes before going to bed lol.

Sorry for the long story but I figured someone was going to ask for a more detailed story at some point.

EX Palen : Actually you might be right, I think these did actually still award CP and Viz, the only thing they didn't do was add logs to the site which means that these actions didn't count toward the Green Jersey.

I'm so excited that those CP actions got fixed! I obviously worried a lot about these problems since I posted a thread about it. I should ask for my thread to be closed now. Thank you!

Nice. I am glad that there wasn't too big of an issue because of this. I honestly expected somebody to flip out because of it not working towards the Tour de Vizzed. 

Yes, we still earned cp and Viz for those actions, but it didn't count towards the green jersey and it doesn't show up on our cp pages.

Anyways, I'm glad this problem has finally been fixed. Now I can go back to doing those various actions and get credit for them in the green jersey!
