Hey guys, this is RDay13. I don't think this thread has been made before. Anyway, I just wanted to know what everyone's favorite Pokémon character from the anime was.

My favorite character is Max from Hoenn. I find him hilarious and very smart. I love it when he makes fun of his sister May. My second favorite character is Misty. I thought she was also pretty funny. She also kept the balance among the groups. Both of them were at their best when thwarting Brock's love life.

I actually agree with you about Max. Even though he's too young to have a pokemon, he's still an awesome character. As far as who my favorite is, I'd have to say Ash Ketchum mainly because the entire anime is about his journey to become a pokemon master. I could've said Misty or Brock, but I'm going to be boring and say Ash lol!

Misty was always my favorite, she always put Ash in his place, had snappy comebacks and had cool water Pokemon.

But I still question if Psyduck ever had potential besides the times it had those massive headaches.

Serena is not really a favorite of mine right now but I'm starting to like her character. I like the fact how she is doing Pokemon Showcases which is something new, instead of doing contests like May and Dawn.

For me, my favorite would probably have to be Brock. I loved how he came back after the original and stayed for much longer than most of the characters did. He was always hilarious and a lot of his Pokemon were pretty cool as well.

My favorite character would probably be Meowth. He's a funny character and is also pretty interesting. His backstory of learning how to talk and trying to impress that other meowth girl was one of few genuinly sad moments I've seen in the anime. Much more sad than that time Pikachu and Ash split up even though it was obvious they'd be reunited right after.

Basically the were travelling in a forest, and then they found a bunch of wild Pikachu, which Ash's Pikachu enjoyed being with. As it progressed Ash thought Pikachu would be better of staying there so he tried to force Pikachu to stay there, and there was still whole sad scene where they sad goodbye but then literally by the end of that same episode they reunited again, which you could see coming from a mile away.

Zlinqx : I actually forgot about Meowth. He is up there in terms of my favorite character. Team Rocket is a joke, but if ii was just Meowth, I think he would actually be successful. My favorite Meowth episode was when Team Rocket was competing with Ash, Misty, and Brock to see who would get the Togepi egg. I loved the way he took the egg everywhere and I laughed so hard when James tried to cook the egg.

James has always been my favorite character. He is my favorite member of Team Rocket. His voice and the things he says whenever he gets into an argument with the others is what does it for me. I find it interesting that he was actually born into a family of millionaires and then later decided to become a criminal. Perhaps the upper-class life just didn't suit him very well. 

Meowth is my second favorite character, he is witty and he almost always has something to say whenever the entire group gets into an argument. I also like how he is essentially the only pokemon that can talk to humans and also understand pokemon.

Despite all this, I have to say, the anime is getting pretty old, it just doesn't deliver the way it used to.

My favorite character is all of Team Rocket. Jessie and James are always funny. Meowth just adds onto the humor, plus there's just something about his voice that cracks me up. And Wobuffet is one of the deepest characters I've ever seen in an anime. He really makes you look deep inside yourself, and yell "WOBUFFET!"
