It's a tie for me between:

Fallout 3 (immersive world, fun gameplay, great story, plenty of exploration room, many DLCs to expand)

Assassin's Creed II (one of the best games ever made; it creates a long, and amazing story, has amazing gameplay, large amount of customization[for a game like this])

Castlevania Symphony of the Night (PSP version) (amazingly tight controls, nice RPG-style inventory system, beautiful graphics, amazing voicework, amazing script, absou-f**king-lutely amazing music)
It's a tie for me between:

For me, no contest. The Sega Ganesis game Kid Chameleon. (Not MegaMan, surprisingly)

That game was amazing- very high quality graphics for 16-bit, different each time you play, challenging levels, fun gameplay... Too many great aspects to list.

Honorable mentions are MegaMan 3, MegaMan 6, MegaMan9, MegaMan 2, MegaMan, MegaMan 4, MegaMan 5, MegaMan 7, MegaMan 8, Panel de Pon, Sonic CD, Shadow the Hedgehog, MegaMan X, MegaMan X2, Tetris, and MegaMan X3.

The greatest video game that I ever played was Zelda: Ocarina of time. It was a beast of a N64 game, beating even Super Mario 64. Furthermore, the games now can't compete with Ocarina of Time, as they just aren't in the same league (My opinion). Go Zelda!
