I have recently heard a lot of bad news.

Friends I know have been very unwell and sad with rejection and not getting onto courses and projects for work.

They are really sad.

I wonder if you have any advice for me as I don't know what to do to handle all this bitterness and tears.

If you are talking about YOUR tears, then just let them drop rather than holding them. It's better to get rid of the negative emotions at once.

Once that's done, try to empathize with them and maybe link it to a time when YOU lived a similar situation (if it applies) and tell them how you got out of it.

The worst news I got was that one of my Uncles whom I was very close to growing up had lost his 3+ year battle with Cancer and had passed away. I went to his funeral today. Kind of surreal actually. He's one of those guys that I just always figured would be around.

The news reporter told the viewers that if you smell gas near/in your house, you should immediately get away from your house and call 911 as soon as possible.

The worse news I happen to have this week is that my computer broke down and can't be able to be fixed and I got to come up with $1,000 to buy myself a new laptop and it will take me 2-3 paychecks (4-6 weeks) to be able to buy a new one.
