This competition had the most submissions of any music competition I've ever hosted (196 songs)! The music stream also had the most participation and viewers of any music stream I've ever done and the stream lasted around 5 hours and 30 minutes which was crazy but a lot of fun.

It's crazy that only 0.01 point separated 1st from 2nd place. There were just so many good songs in this competition and this was easily my most favorite music competition so far.

Wow what a close competition. Sad that I missed some of the great submissions earlier in the stream when I was still at work. Like The Zelda theme or the Blaster Master Open. Both are great songs. Tons of great ones on the list though.

   Well, I really didn't expect to do this well. Getting into the top 3 was more than I expected, but it feels great. Just like last time, I'll take the $10 in a Gamestop card, if that's alright with you. Congrats to everybody else in the top 5 as well! Honestly, I didn't think the quality of music was quite as good, which was just sort of the nature of the options available, but seeing that much participation anyways was great to see.

15th out of 30. I was exactly average! That's almost impressive in itself.  Well, I still like all the songs I submitted. I feel like I took a hit from having so many short songs, so people couldn't hear the whole thing before the vote ended. I'll keep that, and the 5 minute rule in mind next time around.

Although, if we do a computer system competition like you said we might, we're gonna have to be able to do longer songs. Old PCs, especially the Commodore 64, had amazing music, but... a lot of the songs were incredibly long. One of the famous C64 songs, Monty on the Run, is 6 minutes long. One loop. And that's a relatively short song. To give an extreme example, A version of Tetris (Yes, really. Tetris.) has a theme over 25 minutes long. I'm not even joking, and while I wouldn't submit that largely because I don't have the patience to record something that long, and because the song is honestly not very good (neat time signature though), that should give you an idea that that rule really isn't compatible with those systems.

Robocop 3's theme (the NES one) is actually from the C64 originally, so that's why that one was so long.

So ,i placed 9th out of 30th. I didn't do to bad!  Congrats to the top 5. At least i got the Viz from that vizzed stream raffle.
