Summer is upon us and I am looking into playing a minecraft game, and challenge fellow Vizzed members while also making another episode of Vizzed versus.

The recent popular thing is Hypixel's "Build Battle"

The idea is this. Players all go into their own build room, automatically switched into creative mode. A topic appears and every player has 5 minutes to build their creation relating to the topic. After the 5 minutes, we will go through each creation and each competitor will rate the creation (rating from Legendary to Super Poop). The person with the highest votes wins the round.

I would be up for this, and even though I wouldn't win at all, I may have some fun.

I'm avalable just about anytime before 10 PM eastern and after about 8 AM eastern. (Preferably about 1 PM or 8 PM)

My laptop crashes if I have minecraft and skype open at the same time or when I record pretty much anything. Perhaps I'll be able to make skype somehow work while playing minecraft by then but I wouldn't completely count on it.

I found a really great version of this, played by CaptainSparklez.

It's basically consecutive rooms, with hoppers. You rename sheets of paper with a title, and then place it in the hopper, and the person on the other side of the wall has to build it. Then, after the time limit is up, the next person in line views the build, and renames a blank sheet of paper to say what they think the build was. The next person builds it, and so forth.

It'd take a bit of work, but I could set it up on the Vizzed server if enough people like the idea.

I might be interested in this idea but I definitely think it makes the most sense to do it on the vizzed minecraft server. Although it seems like weekends are what works for most users and the weekends are usually the toughest for me to work around so I might not be able to participate if it does happen on a weekend.

I would be interested in doing something like this as well. Either idea works really. Just would be nice to mess around and play / compete with some people from vizzed in a different manner than the usual competitions...

On the other hand.. A lot of people don't actively frequent the posts so once they see it in action they might want to play it... 

I just don't want people to waste a lot of effort on things that may only be used once that's all.

play4fun : If we were to just do something where we all had to build something, that wouldn't be too hard to set up at all. Now if we wanted to do something where the contestants could vote on each submission afterward, then that'd be a little trickier.

One possibility though would be to host the competition in a live stream. So everyone would be building what they're suppose to be building and we'd try and find a way to allow the stream viewers to see each submission being built all at the same time. Afterward, we'd have the stream host show each submission and the stream viewers would be able to vote on each submission as they're shown off using a Twitch bot that can tally up votes.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
