Back when Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire had their trailers released, I knew nothing of the Hoenn remakes. But I do remember back in October, one of my classmates at school was watching the trailer before second period started. Knowing Pokémon music when I hear it, I decided to take a look. And of course, I had to take a peek right when they were showing Maxie and Archie's redesigns...
As soon as I got Alpha Sapphire for Christmas, I played it nonstop for the next four hours. I remember defeating the two Aqua grunts in Slateport's museum and meeting Archie for the first time...
So am I the only one who grew madly in love with Archie the moment he showed up on that screen?

Not by any means...I once had a huge obsession with "Copycat" from the older gen Pokemon series! I was to the point where I had a reverse holofoil copycat trainer card in my wallet at all times, so maybe it is a bit of an odd obsession, just whatever you do, don't let it take over your life, things such as your school/job, or friends! And remember, PLEASE...it's fiction. Otherwise, fangush away~

That is a somewhat strange obsession, nonetheless though, plenty of people have become attracted to certain key characters in pokemon games over the years, so I wouldn't consider it exclusive to you by any means. 


As long as it isn't a mad obsession or anything, then I don't see a problem with it. I actually remember getting Alpha Sapphire for Christmas and playing it non-stop for hours on end. I tend to do that with newly released pokemon games.

If you are wondering if playing the game for several hours is weird, then no, it is not. I do that all the time. I get a game for my birthday or for Christmas and I don't stop playing until my parents force me to stop. 

About the Archie obsession: I have never heard of any thing like that before. Let me check out Archie's redesign.

I haven't had any obsession with any characters of pokemon games but i have had a obsession with some of the girls from the final fantasy games. I would restart my game before i came close 2 beating it just 2 watch certain cut scenes that i thought they looked really "good" in. And don't even get me started on girls from anime such as Orihime from bleach and Lucy and Erza from fairytail. I'm not going 2 get started on naming anime girls because i don't want a 10,000 word post lol. But no it isn't that uncommon for people 2 be obsessed with stuff like that.
