EDIT: It turns out that the games still required users to have the PlayStation item. As of 7/22/2015, this has been fixed.

I've just made an update that makes it so that there are no restrictions for users who join sessions. The user who creates the session will still be charged Viz to make the session and also charged the Viz amount to play the game and they'll also need the Playstation item when creating a netplay session for Playstation games but for those who want to join a session, they will not be charged any Viz at all and they do not need to own the Playstation item to join a Playstation netplay session.

For those who don't know, you can create a netplay session for most of the games in the Retro Game Room and you can do so from the game's page. You can find all active netplay sessions on this page:
https://www.vizzed.com/playonlinegames/netplaysessions.php

Hopefully this encourages more users to join netplay sessions
