Furret : I was planning on making a submission post 2pm gmt +1 in about an hour in other words. I was actually trying to get mario paint to work for me earlier today no luck though so that's why I was holding off on making a compilation post. I was planning on making a the compilation post about an hour from now at latest, but oh well since It hasn't worked for me so far I doubt it would've anyways.

We managed to keep our lead and there's a Pokemon catching contest. There is literally no reason why we would lose this competition, as we're basically all Pokemon masters so we should have this in the bag.

I'm going to go for the max score to make up for the last activity.

Zlinqx : Well, now here's the awkward part. I'm not exactly a Pokémon master. But I'll try my best in this competition!

   Just to let everybody on the team know, from the 31st to the 3rd, my chance to work on this game may be non-existent, which could be how I am completely on the site during that time, so chances are, any kind of team meeting or anything we plan during that time won't be happening for me. 
   But anyways, this seems like a fun challenge, and I can't wait to go for it!

My apologies for my sudden disappearance, but the legendary Snowdeath has returned! Well, not legendary, but hey... One can try. I was at the hospital for a couple of weeks, and I was just discharged today, but still, my apologies. I would have caught up if I could, but right now I'm being overwhelmed by notifications and friends popping up chatting with me, so I'll take a peek at the challenge at a later point. It seems people are going inactive though?

I mean getting extra points for shinies would be kind of cool, but it might be a bit hard since some hacks have an altered shiny encounter rate. I'm pretty sure it's unchanged in the hack Furret has been playing though.

Anyways I haven't been playing much since I'm still competing in the TdV, once it's over I'm going to focus on catching Pokemon, I think that should still be more than enough time for me to try and catch all 386 of them.

Just a quick update on my status, I currently beat the main storyline of the game I'm playing so I can then just fly to any location I need to go to to catch new pokemon. Right now I have just over 200 pokemon in the pokedex, but like 185 total in the box because some evolved during the main storyline. Either way, we're practically halfway through the national dex

Oh and back to the shiny point, the hack I'm playing has no increased shiny chance, so the original 1 in like 8100 chance is still in effect.

As we are a week away from the deadline of the current contest... it's my responsibility to tell you that there's now a second part to this challenge (it was always planned, to be kept from you until this point).

Modifiers.

Not only will you be looking to catch pokemon, but now, you will get bonus points for meeting certain criteria.

10 Shiny Pokemon (NON HACKS ONLY) - 25 bonus points (Screenshots of each shiny Pokemon required, in thread and on game page)

25 Shiny Pokemon (NON HACKS ONLY) - 50 bonus points (Screenshots of each shiny Pokemon required, in thread and on game page)

Level 100 Pokemon - 1 bonus point for EACH pokemon at level 100. (Screenshots of each Level 100 Pokemon required, in thread and on game page)

Non-Hack Bonus - 20 bonus points if you didn't use a hack to catch any of the 386 Pokemon (this means using only Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/Gold/Silver/Crystal/Red/Blue/Yellow/Green). Only counts if at least 300 pokemon were caught.

386 Pokemon Bonus - 10 bonus points (must catch all 386, counts if you use hacks, though you will be ineligible for Non-Hack Bonus)

Yeah, that's right, I might have a third part ready to drop closer to the deadline, to keep you on your toes. This isn't just about catching Pokemon, this is about doing it in a way that leaves no doubt as to how dedicated you are to your Pokemon Training.

So here's the situation, Zero is playing Pokemon Blue to hopefully get some Pokemon to level 100 and get the remaining gen 1 pokemon in the process.



I was thinking I could play crystal since I'm most familiar with gen 2 and also get the remaining gen 2 pokemon in the process.



That leaves it so we need 1 person to get the remaining generation 3 Pokemon, and also Deoxys since it's not legitimately obtainable in any of the main series games.



legacyme3 : I'm pretty sure some Pokemon require event items such as Deoxys, Celebi and Jirachi which aren't obtainable in the main series games using emulators, so I don't think you can possibly get the non hack bonus for catching all 386 without hacks.

Edit: Nevermind just realized you get the bonus if you caught at least 300 Pokemon in the main series games not all of them, my bad for not paying enough attention :V
