Davideo7 : I have two questions for you.

1. Can I still apply even though I stepped down from local moderator 2-3 months ago? tRIUNE says that you have a rule where you have to wait 6 months before applying for any position again, but I've never heard that before. I'll take his word for it until you answer.

2. An anonymous global moderator said that you specially handpick Vizzed Elite even now, but I was pretty sure that all staff/mods get elite status after serving for 6 or more months. But according to your post, people are guaranteed elite status after they've completed a few very easy requirements. Since I was a local mod for almost 8 months, shouldn't I be elite now?

I'm on Vizzed every day and need something productive to do.  I also have access to over 400 games on Steam and some on Origin and Uplay, as well a good number of 3DS, DS, Wii, and Xbox 360 games.  I would be able to write at least a review a week, and am still expanding my catalogue of games when able.

I don't think I have the right to say I'm better suited than any other one person on here. However I would love to be a part of this website in a way where I can help out while also enjoying my time here. I "Work at home" and am on my computer all day every day. I'm sure the progress I make will speak for itself.

Video Game Character Manager / Screen Shot Adder I believe are intertwined. I have had a lot of issues finding Video Game Characters while adding screen shots. Speaking of which I happened to take part and place in last months competition!

I would like to apply as a review writer for a couple different reasons:

1. It will give me even more of a reason to be active here on the site aside from simply doing streams.
2. I've already made a handful of reviews since I began, 2-3 of which have been approved by staff and used as the 
corresponding games main review on it's Retro Game Room profile.
3. I'd love a chance to work closer with the staff, even if I'm not officially one myself. If that means the interactions are
as they were before- moderators critiquing my review- I'd still be happy.

I have plenty of reviews already that can be viewed from my profile. And I'd have no problem doing 2-4 or more reviews a month on the site
as I have just started doing competitions on my streaming page when doing Vizzed-based games in which I will donate the amount of points necessary to get the system item for the game I happen to be playing to one lucky follower of my Twitch channel. 

I'm also up for doing reviews on titles not hosted/emulated by Vizzed and the RGR Plugin as well, not just the ones here on the site. Steam, XBox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, 2DS/3DS, Wii, Gamecube, and more.

Qualities, Abilities, and Experience:
-Clear and precise writing
-Large vocabulary, and a great understanding of said vocabulary
-Experience as well as connections with game development
-Experience with journalism (I have no proof of this unfortunately, so ignore this as you see fit)
-The ability to dig under or see through the dirt to find any gems that may not easily be seen without the work put in.

I would like to be a Game Tester. I have gotten a nice computer than can actually run the RGR with little to no lag so I'll be able to actually PLAY the games. Game Tester sounds a little easier than Graphic Adder because it''s not as repetive, so It'll probably be a job I'll keep for a long while. I mean, if the whole purpose is to test games and give a descrpition of what happens, then that's a job I can really do. I'm not the best at games :p But I am great at giving detailed descriptions and pointing out what's actually wrong with the games. So, yeah.

I feel like I'm violating some code by applying again, but :V

For those who are planning to apply for review writer, please be organized while at the same time do so with your own effective style. Some of us who are looking to help pick out a good review writer will really be looking at the quality of the reviews with high standards, particularly in whether you can really support your own opinions from the game reasonably, while at the same time try not to use the same generic review structure that most beginner reviewers would do. Show us that you can bring your detailed analysis and beautiful persuasive writing to the next level.

Anyone applying to Tech probably should have a very good working knowledge of all the emulators used on the site and a fairly extensive knowledge of Windows.

Linking to threads with previous solutions I wouldn't think is a qualification...
Not all of the solutions previously suggested always work...

I'd like to apply for screenshots adder, the reason, well...because I made lots already and most of them are the ones being used as main screenshot on the game's page..

I'd like to apply for the Video Maker and Game Reviewer positions. I have posted a total of  50 videos that earned 151.5 CP and 75505 Viz based on number and time-count of submissions. I wrote 4 high-quality reviews that earned 62.6 CP and 587 Viz from ratings.

Davideo7 : Although I was banned within the past year and I don't currently have trusted status I do want to proceed to apply for Tech Support. The grounds which I was banned was over a dispute with another staff user whom provoked a fight, trolling and intentionally digging for a fight. Because I was clearly expressing a point on the "Written rules of Vizzed" I was banned for my freedom of speech protected viewpointed and went as far as to explain this to Geeogree. Due to the fact that my viewpoint did not line with other staff, as that thread was clearly aiming for, I was officially banned for arguing "Staff", clearly an intolerable act to which we dedicate valuable time and resources to rid Vizzed of the most heinous of criminals. As a result, my Elite Status had been stripped from me with zero explanation as to why the other user was not also banned.

I was previously on the Walkthrough team and although I did not have the time to continuous contribute the effort onto the epic and detailed walkthrough I'd spend countless hours perfecting, I did do quite a few epic works! While I was walkthrough designer, I also took upon myself the task to answer many RGR Staff related problems even seeking out answers to those which other staff were better equipped to handle. Vizzed has been in big need of users who care, especially those who want to help even if they can't help all too well. It's about time a position like this is created, one which I'm willing to do.

Despite having failed to meet the minimum requirements for this position, I'd like to put out my experience with Windows 8 and Windows 8 users. There are 3 PC in this house running 3 different operating systems XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8, to which I have a good to moderate to excellent experience with. Most users, who I saw in RGR Staff inbox with issues were mostly related to RGR troubles, usually issues where the RGR didn't work at all. I've had to deal with several different issues, to which I've found solutions for that other users, including staff, had zero clue about. If anything, Tech Support should be trained to help with these issues.

I own every console on the RGR, access to all and the Beta Test Ticket. I'm no stranger to the community, even if I despise many of it's cannibals but it's one of the few places I come back to everyday. I love helping people! One thing to consider is Windows 10 is releasing in some months and that's going to be a whole new level of s*** to deal with. Anyway, I understand if said "rules" indicate I can't step up to be Tech Support but I don't follow rules anyway. I'm unfiltered and 100% real as I would be if we stood face to face talking. Peace

Come on folks, can we at least get ONE applicant for article writer? This is a very impotant role to the site I feel, and currently...we have only one.

If you enjoy talking about games, developers, etc. it's actually a lot of fun, plus it's helpful in drawing some additional traffic to the site.

Eirinn : I'd be willing to do Article Writer, but I'd probably only do them on the XBOX ONE weekly sales like I used to do. If David is fine with that, I'd be down to throw my name in for that, but otherwise, I doubt I'd be interested

Moving and removing Ebay listings has nothing to do with HTML. You have to look very carefully when you look at the listing before you do anything. Be sure to check everything: what does the picture tell me (is there a manual in the picture or a box?), look at the title (does it say for example ''complete''). Checking the condition of the game also helps. For short, the jobs involves moving and removing Ebay listings on various Game pages.

You will not get any training. However you will find a Thread for your role in the Staff Forum that tells what you have to do. You are always allowed to ask questions to tRIUNE or any other Staff member.
