My first video game ever was the first Super Mario Bros.. I do not really have any memories from when I used to play it because I was very young but my most nostalgic memories are from my first PS2 game which was Star Wars Battlefront. That game was amazing and still is.

When I was little I had a ton of video games, but my first was either Mortal Kombat Trilogy (PSX) or Crash Bandicoot 2 (PSX)

My first video game was Super Mario Bros. 3 when it came out for the Game Boy Advance. I got it on my 3rd birthday, and I have been playing games ever since, for 11+ years.

The first video game I ever got was Pokémon Silver for the Game boy Color. I still actually have it in some of my stuff but I haven't played it in quite a while. I used to play it numerous hours at a time though. That is probably my top favorite Pokémon game. Possibly because it was my first but it was fun as well. I don't remember the last time I played it though. it was quite some time ago though.

My first game was Tobal No. 1 for the PlayStation.  It was my very first fighting video game and I remember playing it a lot.  I still have it but I can't be able to play it without a slim PS3.

Some of the earliest games I remember playing was Mario Bros (not the Super one), Donkey Kong, and Custer's Revenge all on the Atari 2600. Yes that's right, my 3 year old self got a hold of one of mom's dirty games while she was in the other room with my auntie and tried it out. I didn't understand the concept of bumping and grinding. I just learned that the arrows were bad guys and mashing the button once I got to the indian girl and I thought they were playing horsey. Mom caught me and told me that game was a no-no but after around age 7 she stopped caring  about me and my sisters playing because that's how old she was when first played it.

The first video game I ever played is one that I still play today, and I will probably play for the rest of my life...and that game is Tecmo Super Bowl for the NES. I know that I have mentioned this before in another similar thread, but its also my favorite game of all time. My favorite part about it is that it really has a lot of depth for a NES game. It has injuries, fumbles, and it even keeps regular season stats. I also like the fact that every year, they update the real player rosters and make a hack of the game. It makes the game a lot more interesting and a lot more fun to play, especially if you have a bunch of friends to play with!

The first game I ever played was Super Mario Kart on SNES, this game is what begun my game freak experience, yes Mario Kart has changed over the years, but this was my first game, you'd all probably think that I'm too young to remember this console (being born 1995), but my mum had bought a SNES in 1994, and it lasted until 2006, 12 years old, this game also resolved in me owning all Mario Kart games except for Mario Kart 8...so this game is my most memorable game, though when I got a GBC then I obtained Pokémon Yellow, this game introduced me to Pokémon...

I can't really remember exactly what the very first video game that I ever played was, but two that I remember playing very early in my childhood were Super Mario World and Final Fantasy 3, as it was known in the US. I still remember trying and failing to play Final Fantasy 3 properly, and almost being sent to tears. Yeah, I wasn't the greatest RPG player when I was younger, lol. And I still remember playing some Super Mario World while I was down with the sickness in bed. What better time to play video games? I was already stuck at home in bed...

Today isn't just my 22nd Birthday, but today also marks my 15th year anniversary since I started playing my very first video game.

Back on April 27th, 2000 (which seems a little late on my 7th birthday, but I was playing with toys (mostly cars/hot-wheels) prior to that day because my brother was a little selfish with video games), my brother wanted to cut a little bit of slack and let me try out some video games. So, he let me choose any "E" game I wanted to play on the PlayStation 1, and the game I happened to pick was
Spyro the Dragon on the PS1, not sure on why, maybe it looked interested because I can played as a dragon.

Since that game on April 27th, 2000, I really took off with video games, played on the PS1, N64, SNES, Genesis, and later consoles such as the Xbox, GameCube, PlayStation 2 (the first console I owned), PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, and more to come.

I think it was Super Mario Bros for Nes; I remember when I was 4 my Dad bought my sister and I a NES with Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt included.

Oddly though I remember playing Atari 2600 games before that (and still playing those atari games after I got the NES). So I'm not sure which game, but SMB I remember as 1st.

Depends on what you consider a video game I suppose. I used to have a hand-held Electronic Quarterback that beeped and had little red lights that moved around. Other than that, it must have been one of those B/W Pong games from Sears that plugged into the back of your TV with an adapter at a friend's house. First ones I owned were Space Invaders, Combat, and Asteroids for A2600 all one Christmas. I think it was '81.

I believe my first video game was a Gen 1 Pokémon handheld game however I am completely sure which one thou.
I do remember somehow mistaking the Do-Jo ( the one where you can get ether a hitmonchan or hitmonlee)
for the Pokémon gym in saffron city
but hay when your 4 and just beat team rocket you think the following gym would easy in comparison.

My first video game was Pokemon Crystal version for my Gameboy Advanced, which I still have to this day, although, I sadly had to open the cartridge to replace the internal battery, so my save file got erased.

My first childhood game was Super Mario 64. It was the first and only game that my dad actually played with me. He's not really a video game guy. But honestly, I consider my first "real" childhood game to be Harvest Moon 64. I put so many hours into that game that it was kind of ridiculous. I was either saving up money for cattle or trying to plant as many crops as possible. When I first started, and I wanted to go to a festival, sometimes I would just sleep for like, 10 days straight hahah. I completely forgot about taking care of the farm. I had Back To Nature for the PSX, but then I lost it for whatever reason. Apparently, it's worth a lot now.

matthw04 : I remember Harvest Moon 64 from when I was a kid. That game had a way of sucking all of the time out of my day.

I'm not sure what my first game was. I've always said it was either Super Mario Bros. on the NES, or The Legend of Zelda, or maybe Gauntlet. However I recently asked my dad and he told me that he thought I played on the Atari VCS (2600) first. When pressed for more information he said that he thought my first game was E.T. or some weird tank game that he couldn't remember the name of. So I guess it's a mystery. But as tRIUNE said, SMB is the first one I remember unless it was LoZ or Gauntlet.

Hahahah. It's funny though, you wouldn't think farming would be appealing, but there is just so much to do, and it's just a relaxing game. Sure, it gets monotonous after a while, but what game doesn't? Like you, SMB was also a game I played quite a lot. That, and Ocarina of Time, which took me like, 13 years to actually finish, hahah.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
