What Harvest Moon Game Do You Like Best?
What Harvest Moon Game Do You Like Best?
About
I'm an Aussie born game freak, I love all the old consoles, like NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Sega and all Nintendo GameBoys, however I, myself also love the new consoles, like Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Nintendo 3DS.
I grew up around Mario, Pokémon and Harvest, having played Mario Kart 64. Also I have owned, Pokémon Yellow, Pokémon Blue, Pokémon Gold, Pokémon FireRed, Pokémon Sapphire, Pokémon Emerald, Pokémon Pearl, Pokémon Platinum, Pokémon HeartGold, Pokémon Black, Pokémon Black 2, Pokémon Y, Pokémon X and Pokémon AlphaSapphire (owned at least 2 games from every generation of Pokémon, Gen I, Gen II, Gen III, Gen IV, Gen V and Gen VI).
I have owned Harvest Moon (Super Nintendo), Harvest Moon GB (Nintendo Game Boy), Harvest Moon 64 (Nintendo 64), Harvest Moon 2 (Nintendo GameBoy Colour), Harvest Moon 3 (Nintendo GameBoy Colour), Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town (Nintendo Advance), Harvest Moon Boy and Girl (PlayStation Portable), Harvest Moon DS (Nintendo DS), Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness (Nintendo DS), Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands (Nintendo DS). Harvest Moon: Grand Bazaar (Nintendo DS), Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns (Nintendo 3DS) and Harvest Moon: A New Beginning (Nintendo 3DS).
I've also played Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon, Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon and Rune Factory 4.
My favourite Pokémon Game: Pokémon X
Console: Nintendo 3DS
Reason: I loved Pokémon X because the graphics were the best in all Pokémon games (not including Pokémon AlphaSapphire), it made a lot of challenges, and add ins such as the Fairy Type, the only criticism I'd put out there is, in my opinion the Gym Leaders were really easy to beat as was the Elite Four and Champion Diantha, after I reached the 3rd Gym and beat the leader, the game also seemed to speed up, and before I knew it I was finished.
Rating: 7.5/10
My Favourite Harvest Moon Game: Harvest Moon 3D: A New Beginning
Console: Nintendo 3DS
Reason: This was by far my favourite, because it changed the whole concept of previous Harvest Moon Games, in stead of farming, giving gifts, marrying, competing in festivals, having children, gaining rank and expanding your farm, you can now obtain blue prints, chose where you want to build things, your not limited to your farm in building, you can build in two maps for the village, and three maps for your farm, you can also gain G rather faster, you can travel to four different locations for a say, each location represents the seasons of Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Not only this, to unlock most bachelors (except Niel) and all Bachelorettes, you need to build their own house. The only criticism is that this game lacks difficult, its rather easy to get married, have a child, complete 4 of the 5 renovations (the 5th took ages), and you don't really start out with much, another fault is, just as Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns you can only expand your house once, however this is a better step up then Harvest Moon: Grand Bazaar. Other than that this game is by far my favourite game of all time!!!

Favourite Mario Game: Mario Kart 7 (heard Mario Kart 8 is better but never played it)
Console: Nintendo 3DS
Reason: This is my favourite Mario game of all time, don't get me wrong I love the classics like Super Mario Bros, but I'm one who loves a game with eye popping graphics, something this game is perfect for, and how you can glide and drive under water without drowning (only if apart of the track), there's a few faults however, the tracks were far too easy, it wasn't time consuming, and I, myself needed more unlocks, like in Mario Kart Wii, with Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Baby Peach and Baby Daisy, so this was a let down, and Rainbow Road? I was looking forward to it, and it was extremely easy, I've never played Mario Kart 8, but have heard its one of the best Mario games ever made...
Rate: 6/10
Least Favourite Game: Harvest Moon GB and GB2
Consoles: Nintendo GameBoy Colour
Reason: these two Harvest Moon games lacked everything, the graphics were terrible, they didn't have the marriage system, they weren't really time consuming, yet I bore easily of these games. The only good thing is the price of things, they were, in my opinion, of reasonable prices.

Well you got it right, I'm a Nintendo freak, and have loved the graphics of recent games, from the 3DS, but I loved the Crash Bandicoot on PlayStation, and all Sonic games from Sega. I remember Super Mario on the Historic Commodore 64.
But now you know a lot about me, I hope we can be friends...
