Hey there, people from the land of V! Green here with another Mirio thread! So, how did you discover Mario for the 1st time? Did you love it or hate it? I discovered Mario by searching random online games when I was a kid, and played some hacked Mario games. Ever since that day, I love Mario! I bought many games of him, and still play them too . I hope new Mario titles will come out this year, and hopefully they will be good! So, how did you discover Mario?

All right, I began to discover mario when I got the newest console (at the time) wii. All my life my major gaming staples were the super nintendo (we never got mario for it) and play station. So I wanted to try it out. My first game from mario was Super Mario galaxy. I instantly fell in love with the game. The graphics and sound were entirely charming. And the gameplay was spectacular. I do not think that I could have chosen a finer mario game to start out on! Eventually, I played it so much that I actually perfected the game 100% 121 stars with both mario and luigi! That's how much i liked the game!

My first ever introduction to Mario was when I was about seven or eight?
Picture a little girl in a video game rental shop. There I am looking through Nintendo 64 games when a certain one catches my eye: Paper Mario.
I pick it up, and when I start it up, I'm hooked right from the opening cutscene. I loved the humour, the colour, the gameplay, the list goes on. I loved it so much that I rented it again and again every week, and beat it multiple times.
Aand then my parents got tired of paying for it and got it for my next birthday.
So yes, my first mario experience wasn't even with a mario platformer.

Well, I'm old. So, my first experience with Mario was when I was a little kid, living in Korea. We had bought an NES, and the Super Mario Brothers/Duck Hunt combo, complete with laser gun. That was my first experience.

I wasn't really into the Mario games at first. Then we bought Super Mario Brothers 2 and 3. I fell in love with 3. With all the Transformations (Tanuki!), and the platforming, fast-paced action. After 3, I played some Super Mario 64, and then some Super Mario Sunshine. And that's why I love Mario now. I did play some Super Mario World, but I never owned it... Hmm... I should play that now...

See ya!

I discovered Mario when my aunt got me my first Game Boy, my first console for that matter, when I was 3, and got me the re-release of Super Mario Bros. 3. I was actually pretty good at that age, being able to get to World 7 without any whistles at that age is crazy to think about now.

"Hey! That's pokemon is a good game... you don't have any Mario game like Mario land 2" I was like "Uh?!" then he shows me Mario bros
the I tell him I liked the game more than pokemon and we decided to trade Pokemon for Mario... well that's the history of the first Mario I played

I first discovered Mario when my parents gave me and my sister an N64 (and a playstation), and one of the games that we got for it was Super Mario 64. I still to this day consider that game to be the greatest platforming game of all time! I couldn't get enough of that game when I was little, and even now, I consider that game to be one of the most perfect games ever made. That game really got me into the Mario series, which is one of the best series in gaming.

When I was born we already had an SNES and N64 and GBC and all that jazz because of my siblings. When I was 3 I would play Super Mario World after I found out how to turn on the Super Nintendo. I of course could never get past the first level because of those darn Chargin' Chucks, or the other first level that I beat probably once after dying to the banzai bill many times.
