Some video games are hard and real challenges but there's some video games that are a impossible challenge to beat
it doesn't matter how many times you try and try.... you fell you can't beat and you forgive the game, you have any
and I mean any video game you tried and after some time you give up trying to beat it?

well I can remember only 1 video game I tried and never complete was Mega man 8, I tried a lot of times but I wasn't able to beat 
the first dr.wily stage (Derp) even today I can't complete the stage but I star practice to beat that level !

Yep, I don't really remember which one it is but it' one of the PSX Final Fantasy games and it was so difficult and pretty much scarred me from the series for many years until recently. I just couldn't play it after a while.

zanderlex : Final Fantasy?  Those are easy games to beat when you grind out levels and become ultra strong.  And you get all the game FAQs online.  I'm surprised to see Final Fantasy on here.

I gave up on Battletoads and Ghosts 'n' Goblins as a kid.  They were impossible for me to achieve levels and I still am baffled when I see people beat them on youtube or wherever.  I also gave up on Bully for Playstation 2 because it simply didn't hold my attention as much as other games did.  I moved on quickly from that one.

I generally stick with games until they're beaten or I consider I've had enough 'fun' to call it a day.  And the sports games where you have dynasty modes don't really have an end of game.  I just move on the next year.

Yes, with many, many games. I am not the type of guy that beats every game  he plays, only if the game really entertains me, or if I have to do it for a review.

As a very young kid, I was not very good at 3D platformers, but I loved it and had a lot of them , I didn't beat a lot of them.

I don't see how any turn based RPG like Final Fantasy can actually be hard to beat =p. You can just grind till the games not even a challenge.

Pac-Man is something I could never actually get very far on. No matter how hard I tried I could onyl get past the first level. Beyond that was a dream that never came true. I still find it quite amusing to play though on the odd chance I do attempt it again.

I also adored Megaman X5 however it took me 2 years as a kid to defeat the final boss (I was also playing at the hardest difficulty). I had given up on it for a good long while till I decided to try and beat it again. The funny thing is that now I can beat him fairly easily.

I never really completely give up on a game. I'll always come back to it sooner or later. The only time I'll stop playing a game is if there's nothing to do or I'm just bored of it. But I never quit because it's too hard.

I gave up on beating Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story because there was one area I couldn't beat no matter how hard I tried. I tried for months and then gave up. I should've only given up on beating the game without a walkthrough, but I gave up on the game entirely, and then I lost interest in it. Up until that part that was impossible for me, it was really fun to play.

I couldn't beat Final fantasy XIII-2 for the 360.. I got to to Giant Pumpkin Flan (Royal Ripeness) and couldn't beat him... I tried leveling my characters up but I still got beat!

  Is it bad that even across this virtual world I am unable to share which games I failed, which bosses demolished me?  Just way to embarassing, though I did quit Dragon Age 3 somewhere in the middle, I was on hard mode and just got irritated that every mission was so damn ridiculous; then I tried it on easy mode and it wasn't a challenge so I had to put it down for a bit.  

I trained hard, I played it for a few hours every day just to see if I could complete more than one level. But no... I could not. I was able to beat Level 1 for one character and Level 1 for another character, but never the character's second level. Never beat another character's level either. Ladies and gentlemen, the one game I can recall that I gave up on is Spider-Man and the X-Men in Arcade's Revenge. That game is hard. I'm not even going to explain why. Just try playing it on Vizzed. You'll have troubles, I guarantee it.

I give up most frequently with RPGs that are extremely difficult, and then I come back to them many months later with a new sense of pride. I play it continuously for a few more weeks, reach another extremely difficult part, and get discouraged. Repeat.

Dark sword Z : I cannot say that I remember giving up on any game ever...I fight through them all. Oh wait, I just remembered...Super Metroid! I remember that I could not find my way to the next exit. That's the definition of frustration...knowing that there is some nasty tough monster for you to fight, and you can't find it! Oh yeah, and pokemon, not because it's hard, but because i just got bored with it fighting the same battle over and over, and finding the same poke's.
