So while walking back from a local game shop today with my dad, he made an interesting statment (not meaning to be taken seriously, mind you ): He said "I should become the president and make a law that says "All Video Games must be multiplayer. Deal with it."

Gotta love that attitude, right?

This made me wonder: what Video Game law would the fine users of Vizzed.com pass if they were made the new leader of their country?

Rules :
Now this is a forum game, and with games come rules, right? So here goes:

1. You may post as often as you wish, but you may only make one single law in each post, and your law must pertain to Video Games.

2. Your law must pertain to Video Games.

3. To make it more interesting, summon the user above you (the person who posted last before you) and tell them if you'd vote for them based on their law.

That's it. Simple enough, right? Of course all Vizzed rules apply, but that should be a given with any thread.

I'll start this thing off by nominating my dad and revising his wording:
Vote for him, and he'll pass a law that any Video Game published in our country MUST include at least one multiplayer mode.
Think of it: Zelda, Metroid, Harvest Moon, you name it! All of your favorite games could be enjoyed with your friends!


So how about you? What Video Game law would you make? Maybe you can win my vote instead of my dad.

By the way, the law should be about Video Games. I failed to clarify that in the original rule list, so I added some new rules. Sorry about forgetting to say that in the first place.

My law I'd make first is saying that no DLC can include only costumes unless it's free. There must be some real substance with any DLC.

supernerd117 : Looks like we've finally got the game rolling with correct rules. I think that having the Professor Layton series go on would be fine to keep going until video games end. You could always have new things added, and as long as it isn't Call of Duty style with yearly releases, I'd vote for you.

   If you vote for me, you can be assured that all video game consoles from this point on must at least have backwards compatibility from at least one generation behind. This goes for handhelds as well.
