And no, I'm not talking about SMTxFE. 

So during the Nintendo Direct on Wednesday, a new Fire Emblem was shown. It seems to look a lot like Awakening, with some of the characters looking very similar to ones established in Awakening, as well as the return of the Pair Up feature, and a possible MU (which has also been rumored to even be a lord). 

So what expectations do you have for this new FE game? Do you want it to be Waifu Emblem like 13 (awakening)? or do you want it more like older games?

And in other current FE news, Robin and Lucina's Amiibos have also been announced, for a release of "Spring" as well as showing off that the FE Amiibos (Marth, Ike, Robin, and Lucina) are compatible with Codename: S.T.E.A.M. as well as a quirk about more Marth Amiibos being distributed.

But seriously, I'm disappointed in myself for not finding this thread earlier. I am CRAZY excited for the new game, as it looks like, unlike Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, this game will continue to increase the quality and reputation of the Fire Emblem franchise. I have to be careful though, with the Japanese and international release dates so far apart, it may be hard to avoid spoilers before the game is even released, but I must remain strong, because I feel that this will totally be worth it.

I find it interesting that they have previous characters listed as dlc, so I guess the Outrealms may not see a reappearance.

After playing the awesome Fire Emblem Awakening, I'm definitely hyped for this new Fire Emblem game. I was never a fan of the older Fire Emblem games but Awakening helped change my mind about the series. I'm hoping this will amaze me as much as Awakening did.

I don't play Fire Emblem games at all.

But I have to say this one coming soon looks pretty good. Would I give it a shot ? Sure, but if there is anything else that I'm interested in than I would probably get that first over this game. Trying out new games is fun but it can be quite a hand full once you get into it. Especially when the game your trying already has games before it. I have no idea if it's a continuation of the previous installment or something entirely new. Regardless, this Fire Emblem game looks like it will be fun for a new comer like myself.

I don't play many fire emblem games but this one looks pretty cool. I would defiantly give it a shot at playing it. I may get it eventually. Not sure though. I love to try new things even if I have played older fire emblem games.. new games always have sort of a twang to them or however you say.

I've been playing every Fire Emblem game I can get my hands on since I played the first GBA one. All the way up to Game Cube. Sadly, I had to stop, because I don't own a Wii or a 3DS, so that was disappointing. I did recently pick up a 2DS, so I can play Awakening. Anyways, I'm a huge fan of the GBA ones, the movements of each troop is SO much cooler than the newer games, in my opinion. I do love the strategy, and the rock-paper-scissors feel. Lyndis being my most favorite unit ever.

   Wait, what was the question? Oh, am I excited over the new FE? I would want it to be more like older games, because those are the only games I've played. XD The most recent Fire Emblem game I've played was Path of Radiance... So, I've been out of the loop for a while...

I haven't played a single fire emblem game in my entire life, and even I think this game looks outstanding. I don't care how much it is, I am definitely getting it. I've actually been thinking of getting into fire emblem games, so it'll be a project/goal of mine to get started. I expect that this game will be downright amazing with how hyped up it is right now, so I'm hoping it meets my expectations. 

I don't think I'll have to worry about spoilers because I probably wouldn't fully understand it anyway, but nonetheless, this game looks incredible. Can't wait until it comes out. 

The New Fire Emblem game now named Fire Emblem if in Japan and Fire Emblem Fates in North America is one game I am really looking forward to playing when it comes out!

The first reason I am excited for it is that it is a lot like my first Fire Emblem game which was Fire Emblem Awakening. I really loved Awakening when I first picked it up and I have about over 100 hours invested in the game. It is one game that I believe is one of my favorite 3ds titles along with a few other 3ds games. Just seeing another game after Awakening was supposed to be the last game in the Fire Emblem series makes me really happy that the series has become so popular to where it will keep going!

The second reason I am really excited for it is that there is a lot of interesting characters that I have seen through all of the trailers and footage of the Japanese game that I have seen. All of the characters are starting to get more and more interesting with the tiny bits of the game that I have spoiled for myself overtime. Most characters look amazing and that makes them very intriguing to me to see what role they are all going to play within this game's story that it has set. Also, you are the main character and I honestly really think that makes this game feel more deep because you make decisions for your actual self instead of making decisions for other characters like in other games.

The third reason I am really excited for this game is the story. I love a majority of the games I play for the story within them because I love to pretend to be in the story with the characters as I am playing the game. From what I have heard for the story of the game, I love the concept! I think with the addition of having you chose your side of who you are going to live with (your family you have grown up with (Nohr) or your birth family (Hoshido)) is something really amazing especially with the avatar being you and you have to make the decision for yourself. I also love that a path in the game where you pick to go with no one is an option as well. That gives you a little more freedom and just seeing the Japanese trailer for that made me almost cry with how amazing it looked. 

The final reason I am really excited for this game is some of the music that I have heard especially Aqua's (Azura in the English Version) song. Most of the music fits the game perfectly and the same went for Awakening, so when I heard that this game was happening, the first thing I thought was that I was really excited for the story and the music. My favorite ones from the Japanese version so far was Aqua's song and Aqua's song battle version. I also really like the dance scenes with the music for Aqua in those.

So, with all of my words here, you can see I am really excited for this new Fire Emblem game that is supposed to come out next year in North America! I really cannot wait to see how this game officially plays out and I wonder how amazing it will be once I have played through the entire game!!!
