I apologize if this is answered somewhere else; I looked and I didn't find a definitive answer, so I just wanted to ask before I spend the extra Viz. Does the game download accelerator work with the playstation games? (Not complaining, I swear!) I ask this as I sit idly waiting for my game to download. I don't have any issues with normal game downloads, so if it doesn't work I won't bother buying it.

Sorry again if this is a re-ask or if this is somewhere written down already.

It should work on all systems, I'm not sure though myself. I almost have enough Viz to get the PlayStation, and I'll be able to test it myself later if need be. If I were you, I'd wait to get more answer.

thudricdholee : It normally would work with all systems, but I can't really test it out myself because staff members don't really need the Game Accelerator to be able to play games a little bit more faster and with less wait time, but if I can recall, the Game Accelerator does work on all consoles including the PlayStation, that's what I think though.

The game Accelerator only affects rom systems because it's already in affect for CD systems. Here's how it works.

Rom based systems have their games downloaded from the vizzed.net server by default. CD based systems have their games downloaded from the vizzed.co server by default. When a user gets the Game Accelerator item, the Rom based systems are then also downloaded from the vizzed.co server.

There's nothing I can do to increase the overall download speed anymore than what it's currently at without increasing my monthly server fees by a lot.
