So, today, I was thinking about the difference between blogs and vlogs. Now, a blog is almost like a virtual diary. Seems simple, but a vlog is a virtual video diary. Many famous YouTubers make these vlogs, and there are still blog sites. Blogger is just one of the few offered. Vlogs can be put on almost any video sharing website. You don't need skills to make a vlog, just a camera. But what about a blog? People who write these blogs, their audience thinks that the author is very intelligent, which is good. Some of the most creative people write or wrote blogs. So, what is your choice? Blogs or vlogs? Answer the poll and then tell Vizzed why you like one more than the other, and if you've made one yourself.

I can't really answer this question with a definite answer... This is a difficult question for me because I'm over-thinking it probably .

Blogs are awesome because you can organize posts and make them easy to read. It's also really easy to skip to the part you wanted to re-read if that's what you wanted to do. If you skip reading a small section it usually isn't that important and if it is it's obvious you need to go back.

Vlogs are awesome because you can watch the person as they talk. You can organize vlogs, but they can't really be as organized as blogs. I like vlogs mostly because of the things you can do in video that you can't in text. A lot of vloggers like to make their vlogs funny by adding stuff that doesn't need to be in there, and by adding special effects.

After putting down the facts, I think I have to say that vlogs are better. I mean, you can make them funny and make them so many people will want to see them. That's my answer . Peace .

I don't like either one, they both need to fly off into outer space and burn in the sun. If I do decide to do either, it needs to be amusing/interesting enough for me to stick around. Otherwise I'm just going to bail and do something else.

I prefer blogs to vlogs, to be honest. Although it's fun to watch the person, sometimes their personality gets in the way of whatever information they're trying to give you. I've watched vlogs where I just spent the entire time thinking, 'oh, my god, what a complete dork'. And during those times, I usually have no idea what the person was saying. I know that sounds kind of mean, but it's true.

With blogs, you can read the information and process it without the burden of separating the personality from the information. Sure you can get a feeling for a person through how they write, but it's not intrusive, like watching their video. Beside that, you can pause to absorb or re-read information if it didn't process correctly the first time. Again, you can back up a vlog, but what a pain. 

As far as I am concerned, blogs are for information. Vlogs are for entertainment. I don't watch vlogs for really important stuff, mostly just nerdly debates and hilarious comics doing shtick. If I really want to read about something important, I would choose a blog every time. 

I would have to say blogs. As much as I want to start my vlog, I don't think I could have the dedication to do it. I like to read something whe I have a chance, so I am saying blog. 

I personally prefer blogs over vlogs. I've always found it easier to just read something as I please as compared to watching a video.

I like blogs more because what if you want to share a picture, video, worksheet, story or something. A vlog cant do that you only have a camera if you wanted to add a picture, video, worksheet or something you have to edit the video.

If I were to compare text to video without any other context, I'd quickly choose video since it's easier to remember and digest what's being said.

On the other hand, I prefer blogs to vlogs, simply because it's easier to skip around if I'm not interested in going through all of a particular post.

If I were to do one or the other myself, I'd prefer to do a vlog. I'd rather speak than write if given the choice.

I prefer vlogs, so long as they're kept to a reasonable length. I like having the ability to listen to the blog, while still being productive with other tasks. I can zone out for what I don't care about, since I'm preoccupied, and listen/watch whatever I'm interested in.

As for me, I don't care for either, but mainly because I'm not into such things. I hardly even explore the web, really, because I'm quite satisfied with the three or four sites I visit daily. They keep me entertained far more than 'surfing' ever could.  However, if I HAD to choose one, I'd definitely choose a blog.  I like to read and find written stuff to be more.... refined (?)... than spoken stuff.  Plus, it's easier to digest and dissect a written passage.

Singelli: I never said it would be a video project. I said I would like it to be, but I don't know if I can make it into one or not. I will try, thought, at least. 

I Like blogs more. I'm not a huge fan of either but I really don't like the whole ideas of vlogs.

I will always prefer vlogs because depending on the person who does the vlogs, there is a lot of rom for comedy and stupid stuff, and I love that.

I'd have to say vlogs. I dunno, there's just something about them that makes it feel more realistic and enjoyable for me. I can't really expalin it all that well.

i only like KSI's vlogs, but besids that, it's definitely blogs, I just enjoy it more The blogs on vizzed are great too.

As a Youtuber, I enjoy doing video blogs, but I don't mind reading blogs of others, and I certainly enjoy watching other video blogs, especially if it's about gaming, or metal music.
