I ended up getting SoulSilver because my brother got HeartGold. Another thing that influenced me to get SoulSilver was the fact that I like getting the game that not as many people get. You know how most people got Pokémon X? I'm getting Y. I like that because I sort of balance out who's getting what, if that makes sense .

I decided to get Soul Silver just because I like Lugia better than Ho-Oh. Ho-Oh never really came to my interest at all. Somehow, I am with McJungleKitty on getting the underrated/least liked Pokemon versions for each generation.

I did end up getting SoulSilver because I think all the stuff that was featured in SoulSilver than what was in HeartGold which got me more favoring buying SoulSilver (Although there is a couple of things in HeartGold that wasn't in SoulSilver, but not a whole lot). But that is the thing with Pokemon games, each game when a pair is released each have their own content from the first Red / Blue game all the way to the recent Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire.

I got heart gold, why, because I find Ho-Oh to be an absolute boss. With the way he appeared in the anime, as a magical creature, he is one that I really wanted. My brother got soul silver as he really likes Lugia, but that was after I had already chosen to get Heart Gold.
