When Pokemon Black and White came out, which did you get? Personally I decided to go with black because I prefer that color over white and I really wanted to get Reshiram.

when I had to pick between Black and White. My pick was Black, the reason why I choosed black, I really just like the look of Reshiram, and that was exclusive for Pokemon Black, and Reshiram is my 3rd favorite Legendary (after Lugia and Yveltal).

I choose black. I picked black because of how Zechrom looked. Zechrom to me looked like a pretty lame pokemon, and I thought that Reshiram was so much better. Plus, the box art looked so much cooler, and I found the box are for white to be pretty lame and colorless.

I got them both and started playing each in twenty minute spurts for the rest of that day. Why? Because I am just that awesome. Bling bada bing!

I particularly like this generation of games because your rivals are really best friends and that doesn't change. Also, because there are two friends there isn't a starter left over. That lonely lab Pokémon was really bothering me in previous generations.

The 3D perspective aspect is really cool too. You can walk up stairs like they are actually real and onto raised surfaces on the ground. The Pokémon Professor is a MILF. Pity her bod doesn't come with a 3D perspective aspect. I could have had a lot of fun staring at the screen and chuckling to myself while doing nothing.

I always pick Snivy because he's the first Unova Pokémon obviously. It's a little difficult to raise a team in the early going when your starter and therefore none of your party has a special attack. I always thought of Snivy as worth raising though.

I got Black. That's my favorite color. I've played it and beat it over 5 or 6 times now, it's really great in my opinion.

I picked White because my friends told me that I could get more Pokémon in the White version.

I got white. The reason is because that was the only one available.

I went with Black, but my brother got Black and White cuz he had to have both.

I got both to get the exclusive Pokemon in each version (which is the last game I did this for), but I mostly played White, because I prefer electric types over fire types.
Statistically, Electric is strong against water (which is my starter's type 90% of the time) and flying (which is one of my favorite types, and I always have one in my party). Electric is only truly weak to Ground as well, and while the dragon type makes it have more weaknesses than Reshiram, it's twice as resistant to electric type moves (1/4x) than reshiram (1/2x), which considering my party layout, is an asset for me.
I'm also awkward at using most fire-type Pokémon. That is why I chose to play White mainly.
Edit: At the time I got the games, Fairy type was not a thing, so both legendaries had the same amount of weaknesses.

I now have Black and White both. I did a no-evolution challenge on pokemon White (I think, could be vise versa) and played Black the way you are supposed to be. Great games. Going to play them over definitely, as I said in my review.

I picked Black Version because I thought Reshiram looked cooler than Zekrom. Also I like Fire types more than Electric types.
