Which Hoenn starter pokemon would you choose on your new journey with Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire? I personally am thinking about Mega Sceptile because I already have Torchic in my X game and I can easily trade for a Mudkip and transfer over. Mega Sceptile also becomes half dragon type and grass types are usually the quickest learners for moves. That being said, what starter would you choose?

When I picked my Hoenn starter, I started out with Treecko, the reason why, later on when it evolves to Sceptile, I just really like it's mega form a whole lot and I just wanted to use him, and also, the moves it uses, I just like each and every one of those moves that are used, despite that I use one HM move (which is cut).

So my pick is Mega Sceptile.

Sceptile. It's always been my favorite hoenn starter and one of my favorite starter in general. It's become the main choice of most now that it's mega evolution was revealed to be part dragon type though which is kind of funny considering how it was probably the least popular of the three before...

Another reason I really like it is because of the Grovyle in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky being one of my favorite characters in gaming. Definitely a game every Pokemon fan/dungeon crawler game fan should play. Also am I the only one who think mega sceptile looks kind of christmassy?
