Oh man. So, my friend and I started this list of band names. It's absolutely golden. It's so long, and these names are awesome. Half of them are really funny and half of them are really awesome. I'd like to create another list, though- names thought up by you guys! If you had a band, what would its name be, and what kind of music would they play?

It's also cool to list names of songs and albums that you would use, too. Since they're all kind of interchangeable. 

I'l start at the top of my list and gradually share them.


My band would be called Electric Breakfast.

I guess I would name my band *The Know It Alls* I don't know why but I like it

I've never really been a musician, I suck at pretty much everything musical.

If I could start a band, I would start a ska-punk band, and name it...

"Two-Tone Cheeseburger"

I tried starting a band for years. I would get a guitar player and by the time I would get a drummer, the guitarist would leave then I would find a bass player and the drummer would leave and so on, so it has never worked out for me and never will. My band name was gonna be Cody Worthless and the East Coast Rapists (named after the serial rapist from a few years ago). I was a terrible singer and got people that couldn't play a lick to start with. We were gonna be a dirt, sleazy Punk Rock band. 

Well I had a band for a while and it was the same name as what we normally call our group, Guys on an Adventure. We had two songs together as a group.

Back when I was younger, just got out of high school, me and some friends would sit around, and just hang out, drink, listen to music, and just do what young teenagers do, and we thought about starting a band. Well one weekend a friend of mine's brother was having a party, and told me that I should go, and play drums while he played lead guitar, another friend played guitar, and then another played bass. At the time I played drums a little bit, so we did a little jam session at a party. Sooner or later, my friend was having parties at his house, and we would play music, I know I wasn't very good at drums, and the rest of them were really good, but we had fun. Also I don't think anyone else had an issue, because they were probably too liquored up lol.

After about 9 months of doing that, we kinda got serious with the music and I started practicing more, and we started a band, and the band name was Blood Demon, we were a mixture of Black Metal and Thrash Metal, but mostly did covers. It was more of a jam band then anything, and after a few years or so (maybe more) we disbanded because everyone was busy, friends were working, I was working, didn't have the time. Now when we have the time, we hardly get together and play, we just hang out, BBQ, maybe do some gaming, or just talk. Every once in a while though, we do jam, it's fun, reminds us of old times. I certainly miss those days.

If I had to take music serious, and start a band. I'd probably go with a name like Rapid Fire, or Devil's Hot Rod. It would be a metal band, probably a mixture of a traditional metal band, with speed metal, and a dash of thrash, but it's been a long while since I have even touched a drum set.

I've always wanted to start a rock band, and the name for it would be: The Twisted Waffles! I think it's a pretty clever and funny name  

I'm not good at anything music related but I guess if I were to start a band I would name it The Silver Tigers

Well, one of my amazing friends plays guitar, like me, so we are already 2 guitarists :3 But we still need a vocalist, a drummer and a bassist o: Our music is probably something between Rock and Metal, the songs I have written are pretty experimental I once dreamed that our band would be called "REiLA", because we call one of my amazing friends Reila-Chan, who is like the little sister for me that I always wanted to have, so that we would honor her by calling our band REiLa :3

It'd depend on the kind of band, but I could see myself being bullied into using the name 'Merfin Beiber'. That's an ongoing joke in the minecraft server, and I'd probably use it for a less serious music career (like parodies).

If I had a band we would be a power metal band called The Savage Poets. This is a reference to the band Edguy, whose first album was called "Savage Poetry".

What If Only 

IF I were to have a band - Hell would have to freeze over first - it would probably be something reflecting our mentality and/or our music. Something like "the Candlemakers" (for the best economic satire ever), the "Road to Serfdom" or the AnCap. I would like to keep it positive; we could also we sarcastic and vulgar with names like "Keynes is a ?%)" (but not the f word) or "Marx stinks". Although, "End the Fed" has a nice ring to it.

I used to have a whole bunch of fake bands and sing for them when I was ~6-7 years old. I absolutely loved singing and making up my own songs and tunes. Some of the bands I can remember are:

Zack Zapper - Electro music
Last Day of Summer Vacation - Really weird hippie stuff, one song was called Basket of Fruit and it was about fruit baskets
Last Day of Spring Vacation - Also really weird hippie stuff, one song was called On The Waterfall and it was about being on top of a waterfall
Last Day of Fall Vacation - Alternative rock, one song was about lightning bolts
Last Day of Winter Vacation - Electro-rock, I made really weird sounds with my teeth and lips (yes, my teeth and lips) and pretended they were keytars.
Candle of Power - Had one song titled "Candle of Power"
Star Cannon - Had one song titled "Star Cannon"

I could go on forever (or at least 1000 bands more). But time for me to make a new one: Hairy Cheese

My band's name would be "The Awesome Saucers"
