While Bowser has a giant spiked shell, power, and fire breath. Wario has power, wit, and greed.
Ignoring their various troops, armies, and past schemes. Who is the the one who would walk away if they crossed each other in a dark alley?

Well, Bowser is kind of a massive monster who can breathe fire, crush you, create deadly shockwaves, jump really high, and has a spiked shell that makes him immune to everything except fire. Plus he kind of doesn't die. I mean, really. He can fall into lava a huge amount of times before he turns into Dry Bowser. Then what? He still survives lava. Bowser is literally invincible (ignoring his Smash Bros. incarnation) and has extreme strength.

Wario, on the other hand, has a bike and he can fart. He also likes money. Really, isn't it obvious who would win in a battle?

I would say Bowser, but seeing as how he gets defeated by Mario every single time? Yeah, no thanks. I want to see how Wario would do against Mario, since he IS Mario's opposite.

Bowser has the upper hand in this, plus I don't think Wario stands a chance against Mario so Wario wouldn't be much of a challenge for Bowser.

Silph91 : Bowser to me is way better than and would win a battle against Wario. He can breath fire after all and he's way bigger than Wario. Unlike Mario, Wario relies on brute strength which is not gonna work against Bowser therefore Bowser wins easily.

Silph91 : Nice Thread of yours! Ahem, let me start with Wario. Wario, being Mario's greatest and greediest rival ever, can be smart on some occasions. He has powerful punches, and his amazing super amazing fart attack :3. His fart attack is dangerous, so we shouldn't judge it quickly being 'just a regular fart'. As for Bowser, Mario's deadliest enemy ever on the Nintendo Universe, can Body Slam, breath fire, scratch (Obviously ), has a spiky shell, can crush millions of Koopas in one or two attacks. Wario ain't easy, so I think Bowser shouldn't mess with him. Bowser is slightly stronger, but I think Wario is strong enough to hurt him. Mario sure has strong foes...

When it comes down to it, Wario is just like Mario, except heavier and slower (i.e. fatter). It is this critical weakness that would give Bowser the win in this fight.

Haha, this is one of the worst badass comparisons I've ever seen. No offense, but Bowser would kick Wario to the curb. Unless Wario cheats like he usually does. He better not take that gun into battle that turns everyone into trophies (Super Smash Bros. Brawl, anyone?). Wario is a fat midget who basically just knows how to punch. Bowser knows how to scratch, body slam (Bowser, I choose you!), breathe fire, and has a shell made of spikes. Imagine Wario getting ready to punch Bowser when Bowser turns around and Wario punches his hand straight through one of Bowser's spikes. Sorry Wario, but we're going to have to amputate your hand. Peace .

Well, let's look at this from a logical standpoint: 

1. You said it was an alley, so that means not a whole bunch of room. 
2. Wario is fat, slow, but he is smart and cunning. 
2. Bowser is large, but he has a spike shell. He is slow, just like Wario, however.  

Now, let's play this out. 

Wario and Bowser meet in a dark alley. The alley is average size, there is probably enough room for Wario to move past Bowser... 3 or 4 times over on each side. So, let's say 15 Wario's is the width of this alley way. 
Wario is going to attack Bowser head on, because Wario is a baka like that, and it will do no good because of Bowser and his shell. I mean, it's not like Wario can jump very high, so he can't hit Bowser in the face. But, he can do damage to Bowser's legs. However, Wario is not that kind of guy. I have always though of him as a character that is a brawler, and brawlers tend to go for upper body damage hits. 
Now, Wario will know about the trick that if you throw Bowser around enough times after swinging him by tail, you can beat Bowser. So, Wario will try to get by Bowser, but he won't be able to, because there isn't enough room, and Bowser will just side step, and block Wario's path. If Wario is able to get by somehow, it won't matter, mostly because of the fact that the alley is not wide enough to swing Bowser around. I mean, sure, Wario can just throw Bowser into the walls, but that just doesn't work. 
Eventually, Bowser will tire of toying with Wario, and he'll just stomp on Wario, ending that scuffle. 

So, I think that Bowser wins, hands down. 

Bowser ALWAYS loses. Wario, on the other hand, doesn't lose as often. Bowser's win/loss column looks terrible. He always tries to fight with Mario. He comes up with a strategy and sometimes it works for a while but the results are always the same. Bowser has no brains. Wario has fought Mario also. They fought in Mario's castle and Wario lost but for anyone who has ever played Super Mario Land 2 for the gameboy knows how hard it is to beat Wario. You have to stomp on his head 9 times while he is using Mario's own abilities. After Wario lost, he didn't fight Mario again. Why? Because he knew he couldn't win, so he went and caused trouble elsewhere. He is smart. Bowser wants the princess. He takes her and gets his ass kicked time and time again. Wario wants money and castles. It didn't work with Mario's castle, so the next game, Wario goes out on his own adventure and beats all kinds of enemies and bosses and even a genie. He had four different games for the gameboy systems. People say Bowser would step on Wario, but I'm pretty sure Wario is strong enough to lift Bowser and throw him around. The things that Wario has lifted and carried like it was paper, range from a rampaging bull, a stone pillar that was three times Wario's height, and giant spearmen. I wouldn't say he is as strong as Bowser, I'm just saying he has enough strength to shove Bowser around. Like Mario, Wario is used to fighting different foes and figuring out how to defeat them. Bowser isn't. Sure, Wario is slow, but it hasn't stopped him from being a deadly force. He has even fought turtle who was very Bowser like, which had a spiky shell and spikes on his head and could drill into the ground and float over head. Wario has far more wins than Bowser does overall. The only wins Bowser ever had was in Paper Mario 64 when he became invincible and in Mario RPG for the Nintendo but he was teamed up with Peach and Mario and not on his own.  Wario would own Bowser, and then take over his castle. Wario's brains and skill would overcome Bowser. I encourage people to go play the old Wario games for gameboy. They are fun.

Here's my opinion. Bowser loses to mario, because the hero is always determined to do what's right, beating Bowser against any and all odds. Mario's a good guy. Bowser isn't, wario isn't (he's a huge troublemaker) They would both be evil, and when it comes to that, Bowser's got the edge for tenacity!
