I will stay with my edit and say I would also go back to a time where I could watch some pro surfers. Not sure what technology would be useful but probably just a really good surfboard.

This is a hard question, the first thing I would do is sign up to Vizzed earlier, then go back to a time where I'm five then not argue with my parents all the time so I can have more privileges then... I don't know what I would do after that honestly. I don't want to go to the olden times because stuff would be too confusing for me.

If I could go back in time I'd fix all the mistakes of the past. It could do me even more damage but I'd rather have my problems fixed at risk of more harm. If I were to go even further back, I suppose I would go back to the stone age and mess with cave men by waving sticks in their hairy faces. Because, hey, that just sounds like fun.

Hello Sassy. Hope you're having a great Christmas. Nice poetic reply there Tiropat. Hmm on to the question and got to admit that is a tough one to answer. I don't think there is any wrong answer to that but the effects in the future would be the unknown and could be really bad or good. If I could do this I would bring with me only what I needed to convince my younger self to do what I say. Old letters, pictures, and tons of stories in my head to relay to him. I'd also bring my psp so I would have something to entertain myself with off and on while I travel around showing and telling him what he needs to do to make his future better. 

If I could ever go back and change the past, 
I would start with my ignorant younger self,
To correct my major mistakes and stand fast,
Against those temptations I'd warn myself.
The loves that turned out to be totally fake,
The senseless fights I always looked for,
I'd avoid all that booze for my sanity's sake,
Also avoiding some of the drugs I now abhor.
I would tell myself what good decisions I should stick,
Rebuilding my life to be so much better ... brick by brick.
Don't know how much better off my life would be,
I just know I'd be better off and suffer a lot less pain,
With no regrets and be able to look at life with glee,
That would be my trip to the past and my wish to obtain.

I wouldn't go far back at all, because I wouldn't want to screw up anything. You know what they say about butterflies.

I would go back to around when I started middle school, and tell myself to be more outgoing and don't let insults get to you. I was bullied a lot during my middle school years, it really affected my confidence and self esteem, and I lost a lot of my good friends. Even now as a sophomore I have trouble making friends or even talking to people I don't know, because I'm worried how they will respond.

I would go back to the American revolution, so I could participate in making a country.

If I had to choose to go somewhen, I would go to June 28, 1914. I would prevent one mans death and change the course of history. I mean that is what anyone would do right? If you had only to go to a small deli on Franz Joseph Street and disarm a young devotional man to save 76 million lives and prevent 47 million people from being wounded how could you not? If it were possible to change the course of history, to travel back in time, to play at being god there is no other choice that can stand up to this one.

They would be a whole lot of things I could do if I happen to go back in time such as go back at some of the things I have messed up and correct those mistakes to make them a whole lot more better, but as for anything else, I won't really bother with them because I don't really care too much about those things. Mostly anything related to my life I would go back in time for.

I would most likely not go back, you see, what if I mess it all up? Maybe, just maybe  I would go back to the 80's and 90's to watch old school wrasslin' with all the hype, and play video games in all the hype, but I would not go back to historic times, or my family because that would mess everything up, wouldn't it? I would also never tell that i'm from the future.

I guess it depends on how far back I'm allowed to go. If just to anywhere in my own timeline, I would. I'd tell myself some things and hopefully change the lives of my mother and little brother for the better. Tell my sister before she died how much I love her and how much she influenced some of my hobbies and stuff.
If any further back I'm allowed to go... I would like to say hi to John Wayne... don't give me that look, I like his westerns.
I don't really know, because even if you go back in time there is no guarantee that you can change the 'future/present' To be able to stop some wars or prevent a death. Talk to Einstein about world hunger, there's so much that could be done, explored, but like I said there are no guarantees. Every reaction has an opposite and equal reaction. To change one little thing, could possible effect everything and everyone, things you didn't even know that were connected change. While I think that it would be cool to go back in time, it would be something potentially dangerous and to proceed with caution.

I don't think I'd do anything, regardless of where I went, other than to talk to historical figures. Being a Christian, my first choice would be any of the slew of Bible figures- those I'd seriously love to meet- but other than that, I think I'd like to meet Shakespeare or go to the Renaissance. Also, I slightly want to be in a spectator-safe part of the French Revolution and observe everything quietly... maybe before it all starts I could pop into Maurier or Corday's house and ask what their plans for the future are. "Eh, nothing, just publishing newspapers." Or "Nothing special, I think I might murder a guy in his bathtub." Obviously Corday and Maurier weren't thinking that years in advance, so I kind of wonder what the first seed looked like- that thought of "I should do that, because I'm getting desperate." And I slightly wonder what it was like for the Revolutionaries in America, or ink the October Rebellion, or what the Europeans thought when they decided to embark on the Crusades. I just have this giant curiosity for "first-" that first thought that sent everything in motion.

If I could go back in time, I think I would go back to the BC era. Yes, it may be dangerous, but it offers a lot of discovery for the truth of what really happened during those times. I would also go back to when the colony of Roanoke went missing, so I could solve the mystery of why or how they disappeared.

a-sassy-black-lady : I would not travel back in time. Why? Never mess with time, many weird things can happen, like, I can accidentally changed the past, or I can easily erase myself. So, if there was a time machine, I won't get in. Or, I could simply return to the beginning of Grade 7, for a new, fresh start.

I revised my list to add a few cool things, first I would want to go back in time to when Maekiplier first started Yourube so I can be one if his very first subscribers. Honestly, I would also probably go back in time to every good stock market rise for certain companies, buy a bunch of stocks and wait until the stocks rise and sell them. Heck, I would go back and invest like 5000 dollars in priceline, come right back to the present and be a millionaire.
