I do have a T.V., but I honestly never use it. It's not really good. It's placed so I can't watch cable because it can't reach the outlet, and I cannot play games with color on it.

I have about five? I think? I don't recall.

Two of them are flat screen with HDL. One that is 32 inches wide, and the other 80 inches. The 32 inch is in the master bedroom. The 80 inch is in the Media room. I tried playing my game consoles on it, but whenever I did, it would have a 1 second delay-- making the gameplay rather difficult.

There are three that are bulky, but one of them is 11 years old and only works once a day. The 11 year old one is about 60 inches wide and has a HD plugin. The other ones work fine, though one is 23 inches wide and the other is 15 inches wide (I think). The 15 inch can play VHS tapes, though it's rather buggy.

Tv ownership has gone shewn this year in the uk.
With modern technology like laptops and smart phones, its easier than ever to watch online.
Since we have to pay a 'license' fee for the standard tv channels, buy a box for some bonus ones, or pay a subscription gor the better channels, it makes economic sense to use other viewing means.

Well, my house has 5. 2 in my room, 1 that is a 22 inch HDTV that I use for my Computer and PS3 and one 11 inch TV that I was going to use for my Wii but never have. I don't have a TV and don't have any plans on getting one most all games are released for PC and I am uninterested in anything on cable.

TVs used to be great for local multiplier games but those are becoming quite rare that last game I sat down to play with friends was Smash Bros Melee and that was at least 5 or so years ago.

As for watching shows on TV Netflix just does a better job and I don't need a TV for it. There are even made for Netflix shows starting to come out so even with a DVR I would get less out of cable than otherwise.

The one thing I do love about my TV is its size. If I stand up to it real close while playing a video game, I can attain a sort of semi-virtual reality type of playing. Doing that is probably terrible for my eyes, so I wouldn't recommend it.
