It is nearly Christmas is less than a month, but what are you buying your mom?

I will get her a nice pair of new boots, I know her style (and most importantly size, same as me) and I will also get her a new pair of gloves (yes same size again!)

Well, my mom's birthday is the day after Christmas, and she's always been very special to me. So this year, I decided to pull out all the stops, relatively.

I spent hours looking for the perfect gift for her, and found it.

I bought a 220 dollar necklace (that was on sale, but for an undisclosed amount) for her that is in the shape of a star.

I also got her a dolphin pendant (she likes dolphins) that she can interchange with it so that she can wear what she wants.

I've never bought jewelery before, so it was a new experience.

I'm not really sure. Every Christmas my sibling's and myself spoil our Mom, but every year she's very tight lipped about what she wants. She always says: "I don't need anything". I think this year, she'll be getting some Beatles collectibles (she loves them), some clothes, jewelry and some chocolate. I also really want to draw her a portrait of Grandpa and Grandma if I have the time.

Considering my mother passed away some years ago I cannot get her anything but the flowers I leave at her grave and the general talk I have with her while I am there. It's of course me doing all the talking but it always makes me feel better. Now if she were still alive then I'd get her some kind of owl figurine or picture because she loves them and collects them. I miss her a lot and wish I could  do that but I can't. Wanted to answer the thread anyways. Have a Merry Christmas y'all.
