That's pretty cool, but I don't really see the point of it. It's first person, but only one block wide to keep it from being like Super Mario 3D Land or Super Mario 64 or another 3D Mario game. I do like the idea of achievements though. Nintendo should make a first-person Mario game that has Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels, and Super Mario Bros. 3.

   While it looks awesome I just cannot imagine Nintendo ever making it. This would indeed change the Mario franchise but I imagine the controls being annoying for the most part having to jump over a pipe not realizing there a block above you. So they would really need to alter some camera angles to not make those annoying.

I saw this several months ago. There's no way Nintendo would make a first person Mario game. While that video did look a little interesting, I feel like the controls and the camera would be terrible, which would make the game a failure in my eyes.
