i agree the strorylines are not the best and they always seem to win no matter how bad its looking. i dont rate it

The show and game should not be compared, there are their own things, by different developers. That being said, I will do just that.

That show embaresses The Legend of Zelda. Why?

Well, first of, Miyamoto (producer and/or director of most Zelda game titles) created Link to be a courageous, non-speaking, respectful and humble hero. Even as a child in the games, he is something of a gentlemen. Not a annoying, hot-headed, loudmouth always trying to get the princess (who doesn't show any sign of being wise like the games) to kiss him.

Some may argue that the show came out after the first LoZ game, and thus is the first creation of links personality and the following games are not true to it. However, keep in mind that Miyamoto did not develop the show, but developed the games, including the first. In other words, the Link he had in his mind, and had created on the video game, is the "original" Link.

The show, however, completely distroyes the Hero as Miyamoto imagined him. But thankfully, it never became to popular. So the images we have of Link in our minds are of the noble, quite hero.

But really, it doesn't matter, it's just a show. I don't care for it, but it doesn't bother any. :p

did anyone see the low budget movie Legend of Zelda: Hero of Time?

I never liked it. It was just.... weird. Poorly animated too.

I never thought that cartoons based off video games were any good. Look at The Super Mario Bros Cartoon... It was just pathetic. Video Games are meant to be video games, not cartoons

I do like the show, it's quite good. I first heard about it from Youtube poops lol, I like the first episode the best.

Not ALL shows from Video games are cheesy.

Sonic Satam got over the limits and it one of the darkest cartoons I ever watched (and it is based off a Video Game ).

I never watched the show, but I came up across the DVD while browsing stuff at a shop, I then noticed that it was the ONLY old school show on the shalf, I searched everywhere for Sonic SATAM nearby, but it is no where to be found.

I guess I won't watch it then (due to the persons above me, I dislike shows TOO cheesy).

I'll have to check out the show, but from what I've heard it's along the lines of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, which is super cheesy (at least triple nacho cheese). I like cheese... usually.

I hated the Zelda cartoon... I mean, the Mario Bros was stupid and goofy too, but Mario kind of is a goofy game. It's light-hearted and fun, and the show reflected that... although they overdid it. However, Zelda is a much darker game. Yes, it does have jokes, but overall the tone is pretty morbid (maybe not so much in Wind Waker onward, but definitely in the first five games). Bowser isn't really evil; he's just bad. Ganon is actually evil.

The characters in The Legend of Zelda are more noble and idealistic in my eyes, and the cartoon ruined that. Link is almost like a medieval version of Clint Eastwood, but the cartoon turned him into a bumbling, (pardon my English) horny, obnoxious oaf. And they turned our wise princess into that annoying hot-headed stereotype!

Long story short, I'm glad you enjoyed it, but I most definitely did not.
