There. Here it is. No layout. Nothing at all. Is this what you all wanted? To see nothing on my posts? I don't think Time is really considered much anymore,which is something I put into on my layout. I'm certain you think that this was pretty funny. Now I'm going to stay like this, forever unidentified, just like you all like it. 

Actually, when you block your layout, that means that only *you* don't see it.

Are people being jerks about your layout? Well now that's just fricken stupid. You can choose whatever layout you want as long as in the rules, dood. Just ignore them, they'll stop soon enough

It's easy to fix by turning the font color white.

But since you're already going to change it, this might be a temporary fix.

It is hard to read though, but that about the only thing I would fix. Otherwise it's fine.

You should have layouts because you like them, not because other people like them.  Who cares what other people think about your layouts?  It doesn't matter and you shouldn't let it bother you.  Embrace layouts you love and that's fine.

The only criticism I have is when the coloring of the font and written parts are against a similar color in the background.  If I can't easily read what you're writing, there's no way I'm going to invest the time to actually read what's going on.

Call me old and crotchety but I want to be able to read comments easily.  When there's so much in the background and it's a huge picture with action, that means you're hiding the fact you're not actually contributing much with your comments, ideas, beliefs, and your words.

Simple layouts are often paired with good opinions and messages worth reading.  "Busy" layouts usually means someone is more interested in how they look than what they say.

Those are just my observations.  Own your layout.  Don't worry about what others say.

The layout is at some cases a bit hard to read, but I have never really had a problem with it.

If your layout fits you and your personality, then use it.


I had just created this layout because it fits me and my personality. Well, only time will tell me if it fits me... But considering how I started thinking whilst in chat, and can be uncomfortable at times, it just has to fit me...

But, hey, why care about others' opinion?
If you think it's good and it's readable for you (And from some others, like me, or for others who are smart and can highlight the text...), then just use it. Please.

bostonblokhed1 : Well, I definitely do not think that your layout is stupid. Given the complexity of what I am looking at, I also know that it was not made in three seconds. I myself know the feeling when people do not like your layouts. Although for me, the main reason is that my layouts just are not professional. I am stuck with the simplest coding possible because I do not know anything about the coding, and I just follow the example given me by a friend. Also, a lot of my pictures are really cool, but I cannot seem to get them in the right size and I end up screwing them all up trying to make it stretch. Your picture is good, although I do have a hard time reading your text, but a color change...say black?...should help that. And don't worry about the others, if their comments are truly undeserved, as I feel most of them are, then you do not need to listen to them.

The point of a layout is that it suits on what you like and it likes to be represented in your own terms. Who cares on what others think? It is YOUR OWN LAYOUT, not everyone else's layout.

I can't make my own layouts like some people but I will stick with what I like best.
