Where do I begin with Mario? I have been playing for as long as I can remember. I love the Italian plumber guy with his brother in green, Luigi. I used to have the SNES with some Mario games. Mario just never gets old. Well where to begin with all the Mario I have played? Super Mario Bros. Mario Party Super Smash Bros. Super Smash Bros. Melee Super Smash Bros. Brawl Mario Kart I have played many Mario games that I can only remember a few of what I played. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I am a true gamer nerd xD I have played many other games other than Mario that I can't start to list them all. If y'all want to know what all I have played before, all ya gotta do is message me and I will glad to clue you in on my game list. I used to be an extreme fan of Mario, but nintendo cannot seem to get away from dipping him in magic, and I have completely lost interest in the story that is practically the same every time. I have traded Mario in favor of games like Metroid, MegaMan, Pacman (he always was a favorite!) and my latest, Pokemon Leaf Green. Put on the whole armor of GOD, that you may resist in the evil day. FaithFighter : FaithFighter, I completely understand where you're getting at. I agree with you on that point but, even though they have really modified Mario in so many ways, I still can't hate him. I have grew up playing many Mario games. Yeah, they have these games like Mario Galaxy, Mario 3D world, etc. I just can't hate him. If I could get like a emulator controller of some sort I would be playing it on here along with many of my other favorite games like LOZ: Ocarina of Time & Majora's Mask, DK64, Yoshi's Story, etc. Ever since I actually started playing on this site, I didn't do anything else but come to this site to play my games. It was the best decision I made. I don't plan on ever departing from this site. PokePal435 : Yeah I agree. Mario is a great game. I am not really into the 3ds new Super Mario games that are out on like wii and wii u. I am more into the 2d guy running right the whole level to complete it. Mario will always bee remembered. My favorite Mario game has to be Super Mario world though for the snes. Although I play the Game Boy Advance version. I am just a Game Boy Advance person though. The adventure is so classical, and I love the fact that they included the star world in it. It's really a twist too it. If you figure out the star world secret you wont really need to go through all the levels in it. While on the other hand you can do the star world and do the level. I love the different types of Yoshi's on that game too. Each color has a different Power and the original green Yoshi has all those powers combined. Mario really is a classical game and I must I like it a lot more that I like Sonic the Hedgehog. Both are such great games though but if I had a favorite it would be Mario. Awesome post, Mario is an amazing, and iconic character, in the history of gaming he is quite the legendary character. I remember playing the very first Mario game in the NES days, I remember coming home from school, and just chilling at home playing it, thinking maybe today is the day that I will finally beat Bowser, and rescue the princess. The earlier games really had no plot device, other than save the princess, and beat a dinosaur looking villain with a lot of weird enemies in between, but there was this special spark in Mario that just kept everyone coming back for more. The graphics back then were atrocious, but we didn't care, we actually thought they were amazing looking. The difficulty was insane at least for me it was, in the later levels, I mean if you wanted a challenge do an old school Mario game, no saves, limited lives, and quite the few crazy levels yikes is all I can say on that. But somehow, and some way people did it. Not only did they do it, they did it in record times. Mario really did live up to it's namesake I mean you have people still talking about it today. It truly is an a amazing series. -------------------- |

Lycan212 : I totally agree with you on that. Even though Mario has changed a lot in the years, I still think Mario is an amazing gaming franchise. I can never get tired of playing Mario. I have always wanted to try to newer Mario games to see how they compare to the older Mario games. What are the graphics like? What are the levels like? Are the new Mario games harder than the original games? Sometimes I wonder what life would be like living in the Mario world. What does he do when he's not saving the Princess? Is he lazy and not do anything? I wish that I could experience the life of Mario. Experience it first hand what he does on a daily basis. ANGRY VIDEO GAME NERD: Mario a Italian plumber that came and saved the mushroom kingdom since then he because famous so famous that if you tell a plumber joke they think you are talking about MARIO!! Mario in my book is the king of Nintendo and the only Nintendo character by your permission I will tell you MARIO history if you hate it inform me to remove it, ok : when the sea gull drop Mario and Luigi into their fake mother and father (because they were orphan) they grew to know peach and bower and MARIO grew to rival bower however when they grew up they went into a warp pipe which brought them to the human world (or their world) they soon got job as plumber but the time they spend there(two week) was enough bower dad(hate me if you must but I think the final boss in super Mario bros is bower the first) to take over the mushroom kingdom by FORCE (or take all the king kingdom and also peach note you will only see the helper to the king) with the mushroom kingdom in his hand bower the first had take over the ENTIRE (known) WORLD but Mario and Luigi came back only to see the KOOPA forces so the head out they finally reach the first castle where they know bower the first was Luigi was suck in a warp pipe so Mario went after reach bower a battle was met Mario hit bower the first with fire and he TURN INTO GOOBMA it was a fake so after a LONG battle of monster they reach peach castle the true hideout of the dark king, Mario went in only to be out match by bower the first skill then Mario did the most easy thing he run under and put the axe remove the platform and bower the first met his end in lave and the KOOPAS put bower in his place but while Mario Luigi peach, eddy(toad, yellow toad any toad that is short and playable, name gotten from super Mario 63) was fight the army of warp, bower and KEMEK bought new men into the KOOPA army and with the magic of KEMEK bower did what his dad couldn't do he made his skin to be able to pass through lava without a burn and with the KOOPALING(sorry I can't say more about the KOOPALING ) he lead a attack on the mushroom kingdom and lose but live. I prefer Luigi over Mario, because his moustach is cooler, his jump is higher, he's taller, he loves the color green ( ), but the only flaw he has is that he stops slower than his older brother.
