I could buy 6 of these Playstation items and sell them after the promotion and make 75k profit. . . but that seems a bit exploitative. Maybe an update to the item store is needed so the sell price is based off what you bought it at, as opposed to what it currently is selling for.

Just want to know how much time will it take to download a ps game without the game accelerator item? My Internet speed is not good, average 20-30 Kb/s.

ranger master : It could take quite a while...PSX games range from 300mb to 2gb...

Is there a way that you can make it to where psx games record in avi instead of mov? AVI gives you compression options.

Does anyone have any tips for running PSX games more smoothly? I've had the item for about a month now, but I haven't been able to play the games because they run really poorly on my computer. Are there any solutions other than "get a better computer"?

I'm hoping to get everything done by Christmas. I will need to sell a few games a day to get up to 25,000 Viz. Hoping the games are playable by December 3rd. I am confident I will be able to start playing by December 19th.

Why isn't December Playstation month? I guess it is too long to wait to play all of these great games.

Most of what I want to play is already playable but it is nice to see other people get the chance to play games that were never released in their country. Let's just hope the temporary price drop of the PSX item does cause any server strain though. 

Thebiguglyalien : Close all other tabs and programs, open task manager (ctrl+alt+delete - Click on task manager) and close any unnecessary background processes. If you still lag your only other option is to "get a better computer".

Excuse me if this question is already answered somewhere on the site, but does the Vizzed version of the PSX emulator have all the bios and stuff added already? One of the biggest problems I had was trying to set it up manually. I looked up somewhere that the software requirements is rather high to run PSX games and while technically I don't have my laptop with me, I plan on getting it fixed. I don't exactly mind minor graphics glitches due to emulation, but it seems a bit weird that you need a powerful computer/laptop to run a game system emulator that was around in the mid-to late 90's and it just doesn't make sense.

TLDR? All I am asking here is, is everything all set and can I play PSX with retaliative ease? If so, I will definitely be here a lot more as I have my eye on several Spyro, and Final Fantasy games that I never got the chance to play growing up.

Davien : Well, I have Sony Vegas, but for compression I use Handbrake. Handbrake is free but it reduces file size not changing the format of the video. I suggest getting a free recording software like OBS. It's really simple, and even if you don't understand immediately, there are plenty of tutorials.

ranger master : It'll probably take you hours. With that slow of internet, not even the Download Accelerator will help. Actually the Download Accelerator doesn't work for CD systems on Vizzed.

Azul Fria : Not possible with the current RGR Plugin setup. MOV is the best output format for Mednafen which is the emulator we use. You could always use an external program to record with.

ranger master : I had encountered the same problem and yes, you can, you just have to assign the buttons by double-clicking the screen. It will go through the assignments with you, just make sure you press only the button you want to assign the symbol to! If you press the wrong button, you'll have to re-assign the buttons from the start again!
