As of today, thanks to a ridiculously long post I made with a week's worth of preparation, I have hit 1,500,000 words, becoming only the second person to hit this mark.

The first of which was David, of course.

I think this is pretty huge, because 1,000,000 is huge. And this is 150% of that.

Any time you are halfway to doubling such a huge milestone, it's a milestone upon itself.

No one else is particularly close to this mark, the closest being geeogree (who is 200,000 words away, but is inactive) and Singelli (who is about 500,000 words away. It doesn't really matter how wordy her posts are, it will still take a good chunk of time to get there).

I'm pretty excited to finally hit a milestone again. It's been a long time since I've been able to say I accomplished something. Which feels weird. Since I'm used to accomplishing something new every other day it seems.

Oh well.

1,500,000 down, who knows how many more to go.

How much of this was from the IT games do you think?
I'll never touch this mark haha.  It's a pretty big accomplishment.  Congrats!

I would guesstimate that about 300,000 of these words are in Innocent Town, and that about 500,000 words are in the staff forums, with 200,000 being in Your Forum and Sports. The last 500,000 being spread out on the site.

No way of knowing though. It'd be nice to have stats on that, but even I don't have that much patience.

Well done. YOu're the second person on the site to reach 15 million words. I must say that you did a wonderful job (even though I obviously could've done it in half the time). What's your next milestone goal, if you have one?

That's saying quite a bit. And here I thought all Singelli did was talk a lot. It seems you are almost as bad as her. XD 

mlb789 : That does make sense. I mean, I have nearly 620 threads made. If I had to guess, I would say 10-20% was from when I had a rented forum.

I don't have a "next" goal right now, but the logical next milestone is probably 25,000 posts, followed by both 30,000 posts and 2 million words.

I would say I'll hit 25,000 in a year or so, given how inactive I've been over the past two years. I'll probably hit 2 million words sometime in 2016, but by then, I imagine I'll be the third to hit that milestone.

Grats man! It must have taken you ages to reach to this kind of milestone. You've reached to a milestone that not a typical member on Vizzed would actually do. Keep up with the good work!

Congratulations, It makes my yellow jersey look measly lol. 

At this rate I'm due to hit 1,500,000 words after being registered to the site in just under 23 years... so 2033 lol... That should help some people put into perspective how amazing this feat is.

Here's to another year of activity and perhaps a year to look forward to... Lets keep the good times going eh?

It's crazy to think that you've accomplished this and you've been here less than half as long as I have so it's crazy to think what your word count would be if you had been here since the beginning, you'd probably be at 3+ million words.

Yeah, had I been here from the beginning, I'd probably be between 3 and 4 million right about now, accounting for growth of the site.

We're getting to the size though that 1.5 million won't be that big of a milestone, since the site is just so big now. It'll always be pretty major, but it's much easier to reach now than it would have been 3-4 years ago.
