My first console was PS1.
When PS1 was new back in the day, It was fun to play with it.
My first game for PS1 was Spyro the dragon.
I fell in love with the cute little purple dragon who is trying to save the dragons from Gnasty Gnorc when I was young.
I am still a big fan of the Spyro franchise and I have all of the spyro games for PS1 and PS2.
I think the first three games of Spyro Franchise was the best ones what were ever created.
A friend is what you need the most

My first console I got for Christmas when I was maybe 7 or 8 years old. It was an Atari 2600 preloaded with the hundreds of different games to play. It was a family console, but my brother and I played it the most, our favorite game to play was Contra even though we never could get passed the first level.

My first console was in fact a handheld. It was the Gameboy Advance SP. Actually, I still have right next to me at this very moment. But if we're talking about home consoles, then that would be the Nintendo Gamecube. I still have that as well. I'm still young, so that means I wouldn't have very many retro consoles or games. However, my mom told me she got me a Sega Genesis for Christmas this year, which made me VERY happy. She only told me this because I was going to get it on Christmas, but it wouldn't deliver until February.

I actually had two consoles growing up, the SNES and PS2.

My brother had an N64 ( I would sometimes sneak in his room and play it) but I never played it that often. The first game I remember playing on the SNES was Super Mario World and on the PS2 it was Spider-man and 007: Agent Under Fire.

I actually played the spider-man game so much that the disc stopped working, can't say the same for 007 :p

My first console, you say?  Hmmm, if I remember correctly, my first console was my Sega Genesis, with Mortal Kombat and Sonic the Hedgehog as my first games (which, considering I was two at the time, was probably not the best idea on my mom's part :p)

When I was very young, my dad gave me his Sega Game Gear to play game on, even though this was several years after the Sega Game Gear's prime was over.  That didn't stop me from absolutely loving the console though, and I still own it.  The first console that was actually mine was a hand-held, and it was the purple Game Boy Advance.  My first home console was a PlayStation 2.  I still have my original Game Boy Advance and PS2 to this day.

I got my Model 2 SNES around the same time I joined Vizzed and really got into retro gaming. That was the first real console I actually owned, but the first one I remember playing was my grandma's Nintendo 64.

Since then I've amassed a pretty good collection of consoles, most of which were given to me.
