I have a couple nightmares that I've had more than a few times and they basically fit into two categories:

1. I'm back in college, it's the end of the semester, and I just realized that I'm enrolled in a class that I forgot about and never attended (or that I have a huge project due or a final I never studied for or I can't find the room). College was traumatizing apparently.

2. I'm peeing somewhere and don't realize it's not in a toilet until after I'm done (usually a trash can or corner of a room or something). Thankfully, these dreams never actually make me do anything in real life.

I have so many recurring nightmares that I could probably write a book about it. haha.
(Why don't I ever have any good dreams?!?!)

1.  I have a dream that my teeth start to get loose. Really loose... and then looser.... I start to panic because I don't want to need fake teeth or have missing teeth. Then.. my teeth just... fall out of my mouth.  Really... just... fall right onto my tongue.  One at a time... or sometimes two or three, like they're stuck together.  My gums bleed and I start crying, and my gums and tongue burn kind of like acid was put onto them.  Sometimes... not all of those details take place.... but losing teeth for no reason?  It's ridiculous how often I dream that!

2. Forgetting that I am married, and being unfaithful in my marriage, only to remember my vows afterwards. Enough said.

3. Going shopping or being in public... only to realize suddenly that I never put on a shirt and I'm only in my bra.  (For some reason, my bottom half is always fully clothed. lol)

4.  Probably as often as the teeth thing:  Being kidnapped / on the run from kidnappers.  Then the hiding game.... the running game... the being-so-terrified-I know-I'm-gonna-die game..... and then nearly dying before I wake up with my heart pounding.

The sad part is that most of the time.... these dreams are so convincing, they seem real.  :/

As a kid, I use to have reoccurring dreams of being abducted by aliens, though lately most of my dreams revolve around me cutting my foot off or some god knows reason.

I have too many to count, but here are my most prominent ones.

1. I'm on Vizzed, and i get promoted to staff (sad, i know). This has been happening to me pretty much once a week, at least. 

2. I'm in an airport, and I'm also flying in a biplane. I have no idea what this one has to do with anything, but I've been getting it a lot lately.

These dreams are always very vivid and realistic, and they've become even more "real" in the past few weeks.

I dont know if this counts, but I often find myself intensely thinking about what my future will look like, almost like a day dream. I think about where I will live, what my job will be, who I work for (or if Im self employed/ceo). Who is a part of my life, and most importantly, how happy I am.


As far as nightmares go, I have had this nightmare where Im being stalked by a blue wolf. Its random, but messed up at the same time.

Singelli : Did you know that teeth dreams, along with being chased and falling, are one of the most common?

We have a TON of nerve receptors in our mouth, as you know, and so our teeth make up a very big part of our sensory input. Also, our teeth are very powerful. I don't know if you noticed, but as a child, and even now, if you are struggling with tearing or separating something, an instinct if you try an use our teeth. That is because our teeth and jaw are incredibly strong (the massater muscle is the strongest muscle in proportion to it's size). So we subconsciously connect teeth to power.

So people often have dreams of loosing teeth when somewhere deep inside they are feeling powerless about something. 

bobq : i've actually had that dream but this is how it goes for me. I'm coming out of this house in a large dark grassy path with bushes all around and large towering trees and a weird fog all around with every second hearing a twig snap and a blueish flash appear in front of me and growling noises and it ends shortly after that


another dream i always had and it ended differently every time except i finally finished it. I appear in this weird symbol with large purple torches around me but it's stll pretty dark around it there is an alter and this girl whos with me and this guy he has like a distorded face and he is like able to levitate and hes trying to kill me and the girl but when tried to attack *in this version* of the dream we hid under this blanket and we were protected and we came back her shooting him with a bow and me some how blasting him using my left arm with a purple thing coming out abd he dies shortly and the girls waves goodbye i go up to the alter and it ends. This was the last time i had this dream

Light Knight :  really?  Gosh... I've always thought I was so batty... I mean.. I have the teeth dream at LEAST once a month, if not more.  And that's from the dreams I can remember!  I do know I looked into it once, but I couldn't remember what it said.  Thank you for the information. It's very, very interesting.  

Well, I've been having a lot of dreams about me getting レイプ (I'm too shy to even say the word in English).  The person who was doing the act upon me was one of my guy cousins, which is very disturbing in my point of view. I think of him as my older brother, not as my 恋人 (trying to keep this PG13 as possible)! And the thing is, it's been reoccurring for a week!  I know what it means, I just want it to stop popping up in my head!  Is that too much to ask? 

There is this one dream I have every couple of days. 

The dream starts off with me being shot at. I then notice that I am in a desert, in war. The entire dream is one big gun fight. By the end of the dream, all of my comrades are dead, and it's just me a few bad guys left. Well, I finish off the bad guys, only to just then notice that I am all alone. I then wake up screaming. 

I know I never went to war, but I was trained to be ready. I also had to mentally prepare myself. And, going into the military, knowing that I had something ( I now know that is is severe PTSD ) and what caused it didn't do too much in the way of making it any better. 

When I was younger I had a ton of recurring dreams where I fell out of the backseat of my Mom's car while she was driving. There were even variants of this like scaling up a mountain or crossing a bridge. I was never really scared of it happening but I found it a bit odd. Another kind of dream I had when I was a kid was being chased by something but with the inability to move. My legs felt like cement blocks and I usually woke up after whatever was chasing to me caught up.

I have many

- It happened a few times that I dreamed about my former high school. I was just walking down the corridors where there were few people
- Before I came out of the closest, my subconscious was screaming what I truly wanted. It stopped when I accepted who I was
- For some reason, I seem to have some premonitions. Whenever I have a nightmare (I'm in a high-speed car, there's a tornado), something bad happens the very next day.

I only remember a small fraction of my dreams when I wake up. There's only two nightmares I can remember that have happened multiple times.

The first is where something happens to my dog. It either happens by fire, or intruders, or some sort of fall. Sometimes he makes it, sometimes he doesn't. These dreams are pretty painful. The interesting part is that I always find some way to save myself and the family from what's happening. It's just the dog that's always out of reach.

The second is when I'm living a totally different life in some sort of green meadow. Everyone's living 15th century style in a little town and in log houses. Around this town are just fields of green grass and forest, so it's completely isolated. I realize that I'm doomed to spend my life there, do what everyone else does, and eventually die. Realizing the pointlessness of it all makes me feel trapped, and causes me to panic.

I wake up and feel relieved, which is a tad ironic, since the dream is in some ways very similar to the real world. Or maybe it's my subconscious telling me to escape the southern countryside where I was raised.

These two are pretty tame compared to the nightmares I used to have. A lot of the bad sleeping habits I currently have actually started around the time I used to get those.

A dream that has been happening to me quite frequently is that the first part, my house was destroyed by a hurricane and it needs to be repaired and for some reason, my family have became rich by winning a huge 2 billion dollar lottery, and has built a huge mansion with even it's own helipad, indoor swimming pool, and everything else in a rich person's house, and my room for some whatever reason had a door to the outside that leads to a personal airstrip. and I have lived in that mansion. Not really sure on why I have been getting this dream quite frequently.

Like last night, I dreamed that I walked around and swim in the Indoor swimming pool, and then went to my room which is a huge gaming room and just started playing my Wii U on a huge 96 inch T.V.


It seems strange because most of this in real life, I am the complete opposite.

I keep having this dream where it's the last day of seventh grade (I'm in the eighth grade now), and my best friend is there. She really was there on the last day of seventh grade, but she isn't here anymore. She traveled. I keep thinking it's real, and I've acted differently every time I had dream while everything around me was basically the same. I miss her . I wish I could have done something different to make the last I saw her a but more memorable.

I used to dream my parents and I were on a roadtrip wearing those tacky tourist shirts, and the van would get overturned by tornadoes that'd turn into weird witches.

And I used to dream my grandma would melt in front of me. That particular one once happened to me five times in one night.

My brother, though, used to be plagued by dreams of garbage trucks picking him up. It was seriously one of his genuine fears (he hid behind the couch whenever one stopped in front of our house to take care of the garbage).

With me, it's always a little different. However lately I have had a reoccuring dream about a crush from my old class, I had this dream when I was young too, and always pissed off when it wasn't real .

I don't think I have any recurring dreams or nightmares. I say think, because you can only tell that you are dreaming only a little bit. When in reality, you are dreaming a lot of things. Dreams sure are strange and mysterious.
