I cant go on,since losing my elite status and just becoming another generic user to all the newbies on Vizzed I seem to have become lost and over looked.

It is a bit sad as I tend to have been Vizzed's most prolific thread maker and yet after a small vendetta against me over one thread I was accused of copying and pasting I lost everything. No trial no apologies given. Yet many other have done less and just had their post deleted and the reason I created such a post for ironical reasons and entertainment purposes went over the heads of people. It was just too sophisticated for its own good.

I do think that there is an act, not deliberately of sexism in there somewhere, as most of the popular users tend to be males, but that is not to that that there are not some popular sisters out there. But I do seem to have lost out big time.

I'll be blunt here. You DID plagiarise. You DID break the rules. There is no debate there. That is why you lost your elite. No one was too suspicious, we were open for you to become a better user, but it seems you were never interested in that. That is why you got treated like that. Don't even think about bringing up sexism, either. You KNOW that has nothing to do with any of this.

is this a goodbye thread? I would not be so hard on yourself. Elite status means very little. And have you not made some good friends? I doubt that you are less popular because of status. Instead, the population of this site has changed. It is full of younger people who have different likes, different goals, and even different morals. It is not something that can be helped. People come and go. However it is not fair for you to leave your friends. I am sure they would want you to stick around. Lift your head and be proud to be a part of the legacy of this site. Don't lose everything for the sake of a line below your name.

Barathemos : I don't get why you would summon local mods immediately to my post and not respond to it normally like normal people would? I am totally unhappy with this kind of response and it represents everything that now makes me unhappy with Vizzed.

It's precisely because you were elite that you got a harsher punishment.

It doesn't matter your gender.

It doesn't matter what joke you were intending to make by copy/pasting someone else's work.

The rules are plain and simple.

I'm still a fairly new user, so I may not understand what your situation is, nor what it is like to becoming a regular user again. However, that isn't to say that you can start over. Look for new friends, talk to new people. Assuming that the people who have accused are gone or less active, they shouldn't be a hindrance to enjoying yourself and re-establishing a sense of belonging within this community. Perhaps starting over, from past drama, is for the better. 

As for the sexism, who knows. Have you talked to certain people about whatever happened? Have you explained your feelings to them? I would say to keep trying.

I'm sorry, but even if that were true (it isn't, you have one tenth the amount of posts I do, and I'm not even in first), it isn't an excuse to break the rules of the site so blatantly.

Elites are held to a higher standard. We are the example makers of this site. If one of our own is sending the message it is ok to steal intellectual thought, then we are sending the wrong message. I agree whole heartedly with you losing elite, because you were sending the wrong message to the members of the site.

It has zero to do with you being a woman, and everything to do with you being a... well I can't quite say this next line, because it is against the rules. But I'm certain you get the idea.

Totts, the more you are not honest about yourself, the less likely you can improve from this, and the less approved you are from the other board members. You break the rule, you were an elite, any ban for an elite is automatically demoted, it's been like that. Please stop thinking that highly of yourself over everyone else and actually listen to what people feel about you and how you act. Stop being blind about it.

Just to let you know, leaving threads are not allowed. It's been this way. If you want to leave, then just leave.
