So, I kind of went off in the Tour de Vizzed thread. I want to apologize for that. 

I have a lot going on in real life. I can't pay my credit card bills, so now my bank is threatening to sue me. 
My aunt won't do what she says she will do, so we have dirty dishes pilling up. 
I have to wait until Tuesday to go to a Doctors Appointment to get my weight restrictions changed so I can go to work for a few weeks before I leave after just a few weeks. 
Starting the 2nd week of December, I will be a lot less active because my job will require me to be on the road for 2 to 3 weeks at a time, then I will only be home for a few days, then back out on the road. 
I have been stressed out a lot. I have been having PTSD attacks, as well as random depression attacks. 
Basically, my life is a living hell right now, and I am letting it interfere with my Vizzed life, and I want to apologize for that. 

Davideo7 : Here is the apology thread I told you I was going to make, that you gave me permission to make. It explains a few things that we talked about. 

Just saying I liked his post in the thread cause he told his fault in the TDV and I respect it that he did so buzz off haters. And thanks for explaining the problem better

Well, I understand why you felt you needed to apologise. What i wrote below is not an "attack" it's merely what I'd tell anyone to do.

If you are under all this stress and you have all of these real life problems, Wouldn't you be better off dealing with them first than posting on a site that exists in virtual reality... Winning the Tour de Vizzed this month wont really help you achieve anything in reality.. 

Real life comes before any sort of "Internet Life",

Also i know your intentions are probably good. But instead of making excuses and apologising for the mistakes/bad things you do.. Think before you actually do them... or take responsibility for your actions... 

Eventually people will get sick of apologies, that's just a fact in life... 

Also i doubt the stress of competing in the Tour De Vizzed is going to help you at all...

Good for you to come out clean and admitting your problems and mistakes. Not many people can really do that.

Just don't overdo yourself and go off again next time. There have had been so many warnings regarding to recklessness.

Having issues in real life is no excuse for bad behavior online. We "all" have issues. Not all of them are talked about as widely as yours are, but we all have our struggles in life.

Yet, not all of us resort to being problematic on the board. Many people have their moment, behind closed doors, with close personal friends, talk it out, deal with the stress and move on. The problem isn't the stress (everyone has some) but how you are dealing with it.

What I'm saying is, you need to work on finding a better outlet for stress. Posting during the most active time of year, and entering a competition that somehow adds stress for other people (I'm not sure how anyone gets stressed over something so meaningless) isn't the way to handle it.

Your apology doesn't really mean anything to me, because I wasn't "offended" in the first place. It's a fact that you basically cheated. I don't see how this can be disputed. Your behavior, while excusable in a rare one off instance, is as frequently bad as my posts are strict and demeaning (but to the point, and to toot my own horn, fair).

If you are really sorry, you'll work on finding better outlets for stress, and stop acting out on the forum.

EDIT - I know your apology isn't really "addressing" what led up to your flip out in the thread, but it is definitely a factor, and it cannot be ignored.

thing1 : Yeah, we all understand with the problems that you're facing right now and it is cool. Just don't think that we DQed you from the Red Jersey because we "hate" you, we don't hate you, if someone else bribed somebody, we would do the same exact thing to them as well. And two, don't think the new TdV rules makes it so "only" staff members can compete, we made it so it's a lot better and more fair to everyone.

sonicmcmuffin : I have tried to work on them in real life. That is why when I go to my appointment on Tuesday to get my weight restrictions changed so I can go to work and get some money to get my Credit Card Under control, I will also be asking for a referral to a therapist in town. So, I am doing what little I can. Now, I just have to wait. 

I'm glad that you're willing to chill. With all of those things going on, participating in the TdV isn't going to help your mood.

I recommend taking a break from the TdV, as it has only done you harm.

But you've not addressed the true cause of this... cheating.

Integrity. That's what this boils down to.

If you're truly sorry, I'd like to see you become a person of integrity.

Someone who knows that the right way isn't the most easy.

If you can do that, I'm sure you'll be truly forgiven.

legacyme3 : I generally read your posts and opinions and go with "uh-uh, uh-uh" or something like, "Hmmm, I don't know about that."

I don't even care about Tour de Viz and the competitions so I don't know/care what you're talking about with the cheating and all and I don't want it explained.

The rest of the part, the first and the end, are completely spot on.  If things are going on in one part of someone's life, that person needs to separate that from the other parts of their lives.  They have to find a healthy outlet that isn't going to negatively affect all their relationships and interactions with other people.

Man up, deal with stuff on your own time if you're going to be in a social forum.  Or, stop coming here until you get things figured out in your real life.  That part of your life is much more important than any of us and it should get priorities.  Clean the dishes, get healthy, find work, do those things you need to do to succeed out there and then come back here.  Spending time here when things are going wrong isn't going to solve problems.

The best outlet for stress is taking active control of your life and getting problems solved for good.  However you have to do it, man up and do it, Thing.

I appreciate your willingness to apologise, but you really didn't apologise for the root cause of it all; cheating. If you are really, truly sorry and if you really, truly want to do better, don't take you stress out on people on the internet. Don't lose your mind over random competitions.
That's a good start. Come back and make a more proper apology when you really feel like overhauling yourself.

Yeah, I cheated, and I was wrong for doing it. 

As for everybody telling me to take a break, believe it or not, but Vizzed is what keeps be calmed down enough to not just give up in real life. 

I totally forgive you for whatever you've done. Whatever you've done, there will always be somebody extending a hand to lift you back up. I do suggest not posting as much for now, and I know how much an addiction to Vizzed can harm regular life. I used to be really hooked to posting, and it hurt my relationships a lot, as well as my productivity. Now, I look for opportunities like this to make a good post, browse the market, and do a few other things. I love Vizzed, but I don't want this good thing to turn into something bad.
