Hello people of Vizzed!

School is just around the corner and will come soon. There lies the preparation for school like regulating sleep schedules (I'm doomed especially when I am a night owl), shopping for school for supplies (and maybe clothes as well), dealing with transportation, and much more. Most importantly when it comes to school, there are classes that we have to take in other to advance more into our futures whether it would be graduating, trying to get a better and long term job, or learn for the sake of learning various subjects that interest us.

For the upcoming fall term, I am planning to take these classes:
Developmental Psychology
Cultural Anthropology
Minority Groups
Astronomy (class + lab)

What classes are you people planning to take or currently taking right now?   

Every year in the high school I go to, I have to take English, Math, Science, History, and gym every year, so I'm taking those classes. Parenting skills is required to take during sophomore year in school, so I have to take that class this year. In addition, I chose to take band, chorus, art, and Chinese 2 this year.

ghostfishy : For the Fall Semester at my school I am taking four more classes. They are:
ECN 211- Economic Principles
GBS 205- Legal Ethical/ Regulations Issues/ Business (Online)
MAT 218- Math Analysis/ Business
PSY 132- Psychology and Culture (Honors)
A lot of Business classes. Hopefully their easy !

AriaAngelDream : Yeah, high school classes tend to repeat their subjects with their classes in general. I didn't know that parenting skills are required for your school especially when it's one of those rare moments that I've heard high school students take that type of class. Your schedule seems to be loaded but makes you look well balanced. Are you forced to all of those classes for the term or you wanted it like that?

zanderlex : Hmm... I never heard of an online sports class or taken an online class before. How does the online sports class work unless you don't know?

ghostfishy : Well, I'm forced to take English, math, science, history, and gym every year as well as one year of parenting skills (in tenth grade), as it's a requirement in my school to graduate. Then I was allowed to choose which classes I wanted to take. I wanted to take a second year of Chinese, band, and chorus, and I wanted to take art too. I am taking each class for the whole year. I'm fine with how my schedule is, I have all of the classes I am taking this year in addition to a few study hall classes. I'm sure I will be fine this year.

Next year I am planning to take applied math (because it helps for the SATs) Advanced English 11, AP Psychology, Physics, Spanish 4, Human Anatomy and US History. Along with all of this, I am taking a study hall because I think it will be highly beneficial to help lower the workload I would normally take home each day, most of which I can already see coming from my AP psychology class. I had to make a few significant changes to the schedule I originally had because I initially wanted to take Art again, but I already had all the fine art credits, so I took it off. I know I am going to need to work hard this year, even when senior year comes, I am going to try to take some classes just to get more credits while everyone else will be slacking off. 

I'm taking Multivariable Calc, Organic Chem, Biology, and a Programming course.

I'm actually not that worried.

I've already studied the first three to some extent in high school.

I'm taking painting 2, which I'm pissed because, I hate the class and my guidance counselor won't allow me to switch out of it, so I'm going to basically do nothing in that class until I'm forced to switch out of it. Chemistry which is meh, nothing special just a required course. Algebra 1, which is so boring retaking and I know nobody in the class (Primarily because they're all 9th graders) History which is alright, just wish I got over with it last year. Film 2 which is cool, watching movies > Work. Spanish which SUCKS and I have the same teacher as last year which sucks, and English 2 Honors, which is just all work, and it sucks... P.S: To all you 8th graders who think 9th grade will be like 8th grade, a free ride, it isn't summer school won't save you from anything, all it does is give you a half credit in a failed class, which is like, passing a semester, have fun!

This year I am dropping first period and doing it online. I just cannot manage to wake up before first period starts.

The classes I am taking are:

Math Honors 8
English 8 (online)
Social Studies 8 (online)
Science 8
Either Gateway to Technology FS or DM, not sure which yet. FS is flight/space technology, DM is design and modeling (which I don't want to do but my only other choices are Art and Drama)
Options. Pretty much a study hall.
Communications. I don't totally know what this is. Supposedly it's all computer stuff, like Photoshop and PowerPoint. I dunno, seems fun.

Maybe some other stuff I forgot. I don't really remember. School starts Wednesday for me... :C

I'm a freshman (9th grader) this year. This semester, I'm taking English 1A, Game Design A, History 9A, Intro Physics, and JROTC 1A.

In 2nd semester, I'm taking a computer document class, Algebra 1B, History 9B, English 1B, and Spanish 2A. Whoa.

In 3rd semester, I'm taking Spanish 2B, Art Foundations -___-, JROTC 1B, Intro Chemistry, and Algebra 1C. Oh god.

My classes for this fall semester is:

College Success Seminar (ugh)
Introduction to Language
Freshman Composition
Introduction to Mass Communication
Developmental Math L2 (double ugh)
Nutrition & Health

So basically, I'm getting some of my GEs out of the way. In fact, most of my classes are GEs. The only one that isn't a GE is the Introduction to Language, which is the start of my core classes for my major.

This semester I'm taking Science, Drama, Geography, and History.

The second semester, I'm taking Math (focused on calculus), P.E., French, and English.

I definitely like the first semester more, but the second shouldn't be so bad.

I'm actually taking a much needed break
I keep hearing about this thing called a "personal life" and I wanted to check it out

I tried to balance the difficult classes and easy ones and this is how they organised it:
Semester 1:
Comparative Civilizations (Easy)
Chemistry 12 (Easy for me)
Spare block (I think in the US you call it homeroom? Just time to do homework)
French 12 (If I did my homework, easy)

Semester 2:
Calculus 12 (Hard)
Biology 12 (Apparently really hard)
Economics 12 (Massive textbook = probably hard)
English 12 (Easy for me, but lots of work)

I have to talk to my counsellor about the distribution of my classes so I may take Physics (Super hard for me) or Entrepreneurship (not sure) if I have to.

When I enter high school next year, I plan on continuing French class, and quitting orchestra and take German instead.

but my grades are high too. i was on the top on the classes

Ooh I like this topic.
Currently, I'm taking US History, Orchestra, Statistics, Physics, Trig, Spanish, and American Literature. Next year I want to take Physics, Orchestra, Calculus, Spanish, British Literature, and Economics.
I love math.

I'm currently taking only College courses, and am taking 2 at the moment. I'm taking a Leadership course, as well as a College Algebra course. The Leadership course technically ended on Saturday, but I've been having issues submitting my assignments so I have to redo some work and hope the teacher has sympathy for me. :/

I'm currently in the following classes:

1. Geometry
2. Beginner Guitar
3. French I
4. Health
5. English
6. General Science

I wanted to learn Japanese, but the only languages offered at my school are Spanish and French.

I'm a Freshman by the way.
