Hey guys! As you may know, I do sports! I do Tennis! I also do Martial Arts (I wait for my Coach to come back from his tournament). In Tennis, I have a nice and very funny coach! He teaches me well. I wanna know if you have a nice coach. Do you have one? It can be any sports! Well post your reply as usual

I used to do Karate and all the Sensei were really nice. Sometimes they would be scary (especially knowing that they could kill me easily), but still nice. Now I do cross country and we have two coaches. They're both great. Really nice people (as far as I know).

Back when I played basketball in the U12 Team A, The coach was not really nice, I know that A trainer has to be strict and all, And he has to, I want it be like that.
But at my very first training he let me do stuff that is a bit to hard.
I am going to U12 Team B Where my friends are, That coach is nice and strict, Like I want a coach to be.

My soccer coaches were nice when I was learning the game for the first time as a little kid.  As I got older, they got strict and professional instead of being nice.

I played extremely competitive soccer at the teen level and for my high school and in college.  Coaches are there to teach and train and correct and they shouldn't be 'nice' when it's a tough league.  Tough coaches build tough players and good coaches demand respect and attention from their athletes.  They don't mess around, tell jokes, and hang out with their players.

I coach a high school soccer team now and they players use a lot of different words for me but I don't think "nice" is on the board.  On the other hand, we win and work hard and they love their team.

There's a balance.

I don't really like my football manager (soccer); his "training sessions" are usually based off what he's seen PROFESSIONAL teams do, like Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and last week Southampton - we're at the bottom of the pecking order in terms of league system (grass-roots). We, the goalkeepers (two of us), don't have any decent training to do only goal-kick work and then it's one-v-one situations that doesn't do much for us. He's told the former goalkeeper, who's now a forward, not to help us with any training (he's taking training this week so all is good).

Then it's in matches, especially friendlies, that's the fun part; He'll tell me that he'll bring me on, in friendlies, to get some game time but then doesn't do that and I end up wasting my time doing a warm-up; what's worse is that I've had to sit on the bench when there's been no other goalkeeper turn up and he's put a defender in goal and I'm like "You've got one goalkeeper here, why the hell do I even turn up if you don't even use me from the start?!"

/rant, lol

Back when I played sports in high school, my basketball coach was nice, and smart. He was strict if you didn't work hard, but he didn't mind having a little fun as long as we worked hard. We had pretty good basketball teams. In football, the coach was pretty awful, and mean, and he wasn't very intelligent. He worried more in practice about running laps all day then actually running plays or reading defenses. Our football team went 1-9. He only lasted a year and got fired.
