Well it's been 365 days since I made the account MechaMento and I'd thought I'll celebrate and thank the people that make this site still a joy to visit.

Technically I've been on vizzed for longer, I started with the account Ptcrfromflipnote (I think)...

I may have had another account before hand but that is the oldest one I remember. I know I made my first account so I could play Earthbound online (it never had a european release) and I was maybe 10 then so I didn't understand emulators.
As you can see I only used the account for a short time and kinda ditched the site... :O

There was another account in between that one and the other, I just cant remember the name of it. It was about the time the toon room went.

I made this because I forgot about the other account. I signed up around about the time Thing1 got a "perma" (he's back). It's a bit of an embarrassing account. Mainly the name (I sound like a CoD player) but the posts were... I don't know I just didn't like them. And the layout, if it doesn't BLIND YOU was crap too.

So I grew up and made MechaMento a year ago!!! Woooo


I probably would have abandoned this account if I didn't go through what I have done in the past year. I made friends quickly, became an active poster and a chat regular. It only took me a few months to become trusted too and that was a first for me so that motivated me to use the site more.
However I haven't been that active or at least not as I was. For christmas I got a better PC so I made a steam account so I'm hooked to that. I still visit every day, check my notifications maybe go to the chat room for a little while.

tgags123 : You were the first person to like a post of mine, I don't think we really became friends until the VCS but I do remember chatting in the thread like noobs. The difference here is that I felt you actually wanted to just talk and not advertise like the first few people who added me. We may not be that close but you kinda encouraged me to make better posts to get more likes and in general use the site.

B619ook : You were the first friend friend. I dont know if you will see this but I remember you and being pissed off that you posted on all of the new post threads. Oh wait we were friends too XD

earthwarrior : Yeah the pokemon hack, it failed. I messed up a few times and the team just crashed. However that experience in general was fun. It was the first time I'd ever done anything productional as a team with people I only knew from the internet. It was good, even though we messed up...
If you ever want to continue the hack just let me know.?

Pokegeek : You kinda sicken me since you faked your death on this site and made me fall for it until you started to PM me about being hacked. But hey you gave me all your Viz so have a shout out!!

mohammedroxx3 : So I added you on vizzed because I wanted to host a netplay server and you had done in the past. I kinda knew you from the site a little before hand so that's probably why I added you and not the other 2. So yeah I would bagger you about this s*** and we'd talk for a while untill I pissed you off.
After that we were a team in the TDV and that was fun, I kinda screw us over when I was a dick to my parents, thus them turning the internet off for a week and making me loose the one jersey I could have won. Sorry about that lol.

You two made me use vizzed chat more often, though I don't really talk to you both a lot but there was an afternoon where for a good few hours it was just us 3 and that guy with the red yoshi pic who is alway idle. That made me do the 100+ plus hours in the chat rooms. Even though I don't stay there often now, I probably wouldn't pop bye if it wasn't for you two.

And Frodlex!!! Go on steam again, I haven't played Archeblade for ages!

Whoa.... I actually had NO idea that you made re-regs that long ago. And I don't remember being pissed off from you either. But I do remember the whole netplay server stuff and I definitely remember working together as a team with you in the winter 2014 TDV. It was definitely fun. (And then you left me all alone against everyone else at the end... But I still managed to at least maintain 3rd for our team. Barely. XD And I still at least won one jersey for a month. )

Well, hope you stay longer and do more on the site!
