I used to like to watch only a few episodes a day, and I would watch plenty of shows that were currently airing in Japan. The episodes came out once per week, and the process was really slow. I used to like it that way, but I have changed my ways and I now marathon (binge-watch) almost every anime that I watch, as well as manga that I read. I tend to stay away from anime and manga that simply is not already completed; I really hate cliffhangers, and waiting for the next episode can be dreadful. So, as the title states, do you marathon your anime and manga?

Absolutely, I do! As far as the manga goes, however, I haven't read one in a while (its been probably like 10 years). But just like any other book, I would try and stop at a good place, and try not to leave myself "cliffhanging." As far as I can remember I didn't really marathon any manga (I didn't know marathon could be used as a verb, either XD).

But the animes...I watch just about any of them all the time on the website www.animeseason.com I watch the show Claymore a LOT! Its only 30-something episodes, so sometimes I can watch it in just 2 days, depending on what I'm doing. Its favorite anime by far. I just wish it was longer, but it tells a pretty good story nonetheless.

Yeah I pretty much binge watch them all of the time ever since I first really got into anime. I don't really see a reason why I should wait a week if I'm able to watch it right then and there. And yeah as if I wasn't convinced enough there's cliffhangers... I wouldn't stand waiting a week to see what happens knowing that the episode is already available and ready to watch.

MattyIce : Haha, I use marathon as a verb only in this instance. I like calling it that instead of binge-watching. I normally use animeultima or animecenter for my anime though. They have been reliable so far, so I have had no reason to switch.

Zlinqx : Shingeki no Kyojin was relentless. I started watching it while it was still airing, and there was a ridiculous cliffhanger on every single episode. It was dreadful.

I only marathon my anime when I have the time to do so. For me it's easier to marathon manga but I don't tend to do it so often. The last anime I did a marathon on was No Game No Life. I don't remember the last manga I did a marathon on sadly.

I don't I watch more of a random amount a day when I find one I like(which I don't look often) but when I do watching a day can range from 5-20 a day if I am lucky. I also haven't read manga yet(plan to) I might read it a lot once I get used to how some of them are made.

Unfortunately nowadays I don't have much time to watch anime or read manga.. So I only get yo watch about 1 episode every 2 weeks or so.

As far as manga goes, I've only read one manga and that was way back when. I dont remember it that clearly but I do know that I didn't 'marathon' it.

So yeah, nope. not me

Normally, when I have nothing else to do, I can watch anime pretty much most of my day, and watch most of the episodes that come after the anime I'm watching. I get easily hooked to the anime I watch, so it helps me.

When I feel like it, I sometimes marathon anime and manga. I used to marathon anime more often a few years ago. Nowadays, I get too lazy to do so, even when I have nothing better to do, and just end watching around one or two episodes a day. With manga, I have marathon that more often, reading multiple chapters a day. It feels more easier for me to marathon manga than anime.

Yes, That is the only way I can really do anime. Well, besides Naruto. I have to wait a week to 2 weeks for every episode to come out. :'(

I used to marathon over manga that I was interested in and I knew had lots of chapters to read. I actually do but right now I am in my anime marathon stage, I am watching fairy tail probably some 10 episodes a day (at least) but in my good days I would read manga from day to night and the same goes with anime I finished bleach in a week. Since I usually get really hooked into things. Back when I started watching anime I was infatuated with the hobby so I watched anime all day. The manga's I usually marathon 1 at a time (since I also have to keep up with all the ongoing mangas that I have read). My routine with a long anime is to watch a lot of episodes then take a break by watching a short series (12 episodes).

Well I was watching an episode Steins: Gate every few days, and then I got to episode 12. I finished the rest of the series (minus the OVA and movie) that day.

I do marathon the cartoons/Anime I watch.

I used to wait for a new episode or two every week, and that's a waste of time and mental energy. Plus, it's just really annoying to wait a week to find out what happens, especially if the episode I've waited for turns out to be a filler.

So I wait until the majority of a season is out before I start.

If it's an anime that's already completed, I see no reason not to make decent progress in one sitting, so I binge-watch those as well.

During the Winter and Spring I watched a lot of animes as they were airing, though before that and more recently I've been waiting for a series to finish airing before I watch it, so I can finish it all at once. I feel like watching a series all at once makes it more interesting and easier to understand, since you won't forget anything that happened in previous episodes.

For me, it depends on the anime.  I typically only like to like a few episodes of an anime a day, and try to stick to one-two animes at once.  But if it's an anime that really hooks me (an example for me was Puella Magi Madoka Magica), and isn't too long (ie over 26 episodes), I will probably marathon it.

I usually wait for an anime season to finish before I begin watching because I hate waiting a week. I'll marathon anime depending on how much time I have; however, I usually marathon manga. I read at a decent speed, so I'll be able to shove in a few chapters before I have to leave my home then binge read when I get back.

No. I don't. I like watching my anime all at different times as if i watch them all together, I eventually just don't understand. I know some people understand it more if they marathon, but it can't stay focused for that long and just don't know what is going on.
