I was just thinking about this the other day. I want to know if the Tour de Vizzed has affected your average words per post.

I know that it has affected mine. I bet that it has made almost everybody's average words per post go down, but my average words per post has actually increased from 48 to 51 since the start of the Tour de Vizzed. It really makes me feel good because that means that I haven't been spamming and making really short posts to try to win blue. It means that the quality of my posts have been just as good, and maybe even better.

Boxia : Really? I'm surprised since you have only been competing for a day. If I posted nothing but 15 word posts for an entire day I doubt my average words per post would change at all. It's probably because you only have 1112 posts.

Nope. When you have 32,725 posts, it's hard to put a dent into my average word per post count of 65. It's pretty rare for mine to change, it's been at 65 for a few months now and it was at 64 before that for probably a few years.

I think my word average went down in general because I have become lazier, I think the TDV where I could of won the green (until my internet had to be replaced and I got DQ'd for not having double the posts) affected it a lot since most posts were 40-80 words long.

I've noticed I have more words per post than a lot (if not, all) of the people I have met on here. I believe when this TdV started I was around 115 or so. So, I guess it has gone down a little bit since then. Lately its been going back and forth between 109 and 110. I've also noticed for a lot of people it has gone down, mainly to just posting whatever they can. But of course, the more you post, the harder its going to get to try and up your words per post. Since my birthday, I have been trying to get on here and post every chance I get. Now, I've more than doubled my total post count in just about a week (but then again, I don't have 400 posts yet) XD

The reason I don't compete in it is because a Colored Username does not interest me at all. I don't care about the color.. Except if I get to change it to pink for a month or 2... lol

Nonetheless though during TDV, it stays the same since I don't y we the TDV as a special time to spam or get more posts than I would normally make. I plan on writing some reviews soon go see if I can get to a solid 130 words per post average. Then, and only then will I feel complete. I have a tendency to be naturally wordy/descriptive when it comes to making posts, but not in a spammy way. Hopefully I can keep it at the average it is now for a while to come.
